I take it that means they're still working on Danny Crates. Man I wish they'd just ship mine out already.
Nice! I am... well... was expecting mine today. Got the notice they shipped out the same day I ordered, but according to OnTrac, they have yet to receive the package. I doubt Walmart is waiting for that Hot Wheel I added thats coming from FedEx just to combine the two.
Too darned wiped out to bother taking and uploading a picture, but shout out once again to @Bryan Thornton for helping me snag an Ultimate Casey Jones. Edit: Slipped my mind, but this is the third time he's helped me out with these ever elusive TMNT figures. Thanks for going out of your way for so many on this board! Casey arrived a day early and in fantastic shape, complete with a (not) Jose Canseco bat! Tatsu next, please, so I can be finished with the movie stuff!
“But I already have the core cast. I don’t need any more figures.” One post from @Soupy (thanks again!), one trip to Target, and 2 impulse buys later, and Rock Soldiers and Chromedome are somehow present in my display!
The arcade figures are nice but I didn’t plan on collecting them so I sold most of everything years ago. Of course, NECA releases something awesome and I get sucked back in! Are Bebop and Rocksteady worth it? I think so, they’re unique takes on these classic characters that are meaningful to me because I played Turtles in Time religiously on the SNES lol. If you have no attachment to that game, I’m not sure the characters are worth it. QC Issues: Bebop’s arm wasn’t attached so I glued it myself. Works like a champ now but buyer beware!
If anyone has an extra blimp and wants to sell it at cost plus shipping, I'm your guy! With shipping being this quick, I wonder if it will show up in stores at all.
Honestly, I don’t think there’s much they can do with TMNT that I would consider too far-fetched. Haha. The franchise pretty much jumped the shark on day 1. I admit that I like this…
I mean... the original toyline did a Universal Monsters subline with the four main Turtles too. Not terribly unexpected and wouldn't be surprised if S7 got around to doing them as Turtle variants at some point. Though the OG toy versions were a lot less detailed than this figure looks. Though I believe Mikey was Frankenstein in the first wave of the OG toyline UM figures and Raph was actually The Mummy.
Didn't know about that. Makes sense then. I like everything but the head on that figure. It's cool, just not for me. I can see the interest tho.
Apparently they did two sets of them. Not sure these are for me but already fomo has me thinking I need to preorder.
