Don't count me as people, then. I don't give a damn about nowadays scale, as it can change again in a year.

On the G1 hand, I would love better versions of some comic or cartoon only characters, like Jhiaxus, Scrounge, Straxus, Devcon.

On the other continuities hand, all the Animated important characters that didn't get a toy. You know who they are, they are too many to count. Oh, and a good Prime Knockout. Such a good character, such an awful toy.

Animated had characters? First I hear about that.

My biggest third party chug wish is still a voyager sized Sunbow accurate Megatron with a gun mode.

Not me. I’m more for the old dead “scale”.
I’m all for abandoning “scale” if it yields better transforming figures.

Yeah, no.. Chug stands for classic (2006 g1 remakes), Henkei, Universe, and generation.

We are not talking about the current Mainline scale. Mainline deluxe is bigger then legendary but smaller than chug.

I would love for someone to make some new Combiner Wars compatible figures.

Jumping in on "I hate the nu-scale" (even though no one actually said that except me) and would still love "old, dead-scale" 14+ cm deluxes of every car bot.

What I would want is a Barricade based on this one piece of art I saw a ways back. G1 styled with modern detail, but he's based off his Shelby/Mustang police cruiser. I'd absolutely be on board for that . 14cm/5.5" minimum of course

6"-6 1/2" tall non-partsforming Ironhide and Ratchet. I understand voyager versions are coming out from Hasbro at some point, but I dont trust them not to do the dettacheable sled as a major part of the van. Not for me.

Same for Hoist and Trailbreaker. But 6.5" (or taller) Grapple and Inferno.

Yeah, I want figures that have been "done," but they don't quite do it for me. But also the often mentioned Nautica would be cool. And deluxe Omnibots.

My collection is largely the old scale with some of the new figures mixed in. Works fine for me. As long as the figures size up to how I think of them I don’t care what scale they supposedly fit.

That said, what other 3P besides MMC are actually making CHUG-style figures though?

    2 things I'd love are...
A figure of Don Figuroa IDW Earth Optimus Prime since MMC won't do it since they don't do Earth modes in reformatted (for some reason) that more updated in articulation to scale with MMC and MMC's IDW Megatron

Also another is a IDW Scorponok and I think he would be massively popular because people would get it cause it's an IDW Scorponok and also it can double as a Marvel comics Scorponok cause no one has done a G1 Scorponok in that scale (I could see PX doing it since they're doing a Grimlock from MD and Scorponok is in it).
    290px-Scorponok_maximum_dinobots.jpg 220px-Chasing_the_Infinite_-_Scorponok_with_Magnificence.jpg
Also maybe some TFA figures if they won't do MP scale figures cause I would love to have a modern figure of Lugnut that isn't super expensive like RTS Lugnut.
Honestly for my collection I got some figure mixed with new WFC figure's like I recently got RTS Bee (the Classics repaint into movie bee colors) and Mirage and mainly cause I think they look better also Thrilling 30 Trailbreaker cause I hate how the ER figure still has the sides of the truck handing off like Hoist (it shouldn't be like that), and also Classics Sunstreaker cause it's cheaper than the ER figure and it was his design in IDW so that's definitely a draw.

I bailed on that scale as soon as I opened Seige Optimus Prime. What a great figure at an affordable price. At that time Maketoys was still doing x Dimensions as far as I knew. Igear hadn't released anything in over a year and Fansproject was visibly dying.

Seemed like the perfect time to get out while the getting was good. Glad I switched up. The new mainline is a lot more fun(imo). I do miss a few figures from that era though...

    • Devcon
    • Straxus
    • Emirate Xaaron
    • maybe a cartoon-accurate Alpha Trion (I know there’s an Iron Factory version of him, but I want one that’s CHUG-sized)

Definitely a good Straxus would be nice. I'd even take an upscaled KO of Gen Darkmount.

The current mainline is chug since it falls under the Generations branding.

As for the topic at hand, I'd love Rack'n'Ruin and Emirate Xaaron in relative scale to the WFC figures, as well as an IDW Tarantulas to go with the Kingdom BW figures.

True, but I think myself and many others use CHUG in reference to 2006 through 2014 or so. Prime Wars could go either way with the CHUG label, but I consider the WFC trilogy as it’s own separate thing since it was a pretty large “reset” of sorts. Not saying it isn’t CHUG, because it is, but for most I think CHUG refers to that 8 year period beginning with Classics in ‘06.

But I’d like to see a stylized Animated Ultra Magnus in CHUG scale. My favorite UM design, with the original coming in a close second.

I'd love that since I prefer his TM design over his S1 design.

I'd like to Violen Jiger as a CHUG figure. He is a combiner after all, and I doubt HasTak will ever touch him, or at least not in any reasonable time. The old micromaster combiners could use some cool updates too
