Someone posted something on the boards (sorry can't remember which thread) saying that there are no planned restocks for the exclusives this year

Please no, I could not think of something more boring than 3 years of Devastator parts. If they do a new one, just put it in Titan and be done with it.

Wasn't this what they did for Studio Series
I saw it somewhere too; it might have even been an e-mail from Pulse themselves

HasLab Rail Racer would be a buy from me, though I'm not sure what he would do to get up there in price.

Yeah, we probably won't see a G1-accurate Piranacon for a long while. But I'll be damned if I don't want a chunky Snaptrap with the others having actual Targetmaster modes that aren't combiner stub afterthought. And a real turret mode for each, ala Kingdom Rodimus Prime's trailer turret.

    Sigh. One can dream. =/

That's exactly what I am doing, I got Pulse exclusively for Ravage, but I'll be picking up Pudgy Pig from Power Rangers for a friend. Let's hope everyone gets what they want!

One thing I talked about a while ago is the future of commander class if the new combiners perform well, it's hard to imagine that the commander for each line for the next few years will just be for combiners. another thing I'm curious about is how they'll handle silverbolt since the other 3 big torso bots have alt modes that can integrate most if not all combiner bits while not tacking them on meanwhile silverbolt struggles to fit in their own robot mode into their vehicle, the 2 solutions I see are either having separate combiner bits that turn into a "base mode" or making silverbolt dramatically larger than he usually is

edit: just found out that the original silverbolt toy had a base mode, I think they'll have the combiner bits turn into a base as a homage but doesn't actually integrate silverbolt

The gun modes were no less ridiculous/an "afterthought" than the original toy

That was only 2 years, and I would prefer they not do that again or make people wait even longer. Also SS Dev had 9 parts vs G1s 6.

Honestly, other than the exposed fists, the new one looks better
I mean, the 9th was just an optional leg he wasn't mandatory. Only 5 limb members, two torsos, and a head

true, but that's still more members. G1 Dev could easily fit in Titan as 6 Voyagers. Though I really hope we don't get him for a few more years, maybe 2026 or so.

Exactly. That's why I want updated versions of them. So they won't be afterthoughts this time.

Speaking as someone whose absolutely favorite combiner team hands down is the Seacons (second is the Space Pirate Seacons), I'm actually quite happy with the current Seacons for the most part. Sure they may have some set backs due to being based on PWT molds, but overall I'm happy with them.

Obviously I wouldn't be mad if they made new ones, in fact I'd be absolutely ecstatic, but even I would say they're of some of the lowest priority right now.

Still need to get my hands on Overbite though. Like, really badly, but I can't find him anywhere for a decent price.

If they did Team Bullet Train in their show scale they'd be fairly large figures. I'm thinking somewhere around Commander Jetfire size (probably slightly shorter) given that the Car Bros come up to their mid-thighs and base Optimus came up to their crotches. Roughly speaking. So, doing them "in scale" would really only be possible as one Commander per year (I don't think you could fit them into Leader without lots of compromises). So, the way I see it is Hasbro either does Rail Racer as a HasLab project one year or we get a three-pack of Team Bullet Train as a Titan. Either way would work for me.

i'd expect late 2023 at the earliest and put into the ss86 line so it doesn't take any of the voyager/leader slots in the main generations line. the current titan pricing would allow for 6 voyagers however the combiner rachets, arms, and chestpiece would probably require the individual bots to have corner cutting similar to cw devastator.

We still have Rise Of The Beasts and Bayverse to take into account for SS, and the rumored Ironhide and Ratchet coming out too

I agree he would be pretty big if they made him to scale (~16 inches or so combined), but HasLabs have that little extra spice to them, yknow? I'm not sure what Rail Racer would get to that end, maybe they could do the Spychangers like they did Holi and Fire, or some Rails to Race on that become a sword in combined mode.

Honestly, I'd like to see the Spychangers as Deluxes. In the toyline, I get that they were small since they were redecos of the G2 GoBots that were made to interact with Micromachines stuff or whatever. But in the show, they were about the size of the three Car Bros. Plus some of those designs are pretty cool and would make great Deluxe figures.

I do like the idea of rails that can combine into something for Rail Racer... either a sword like you said or a railgun (pun intended!). :lol  That would be cool.
