Is the youth trailer compatible with the toon colored bots in combined mode? I have all five members of the toon versions and the toon trailer but really like the way this toy version looks.

All XTB Stunticons are compatible with each other in order to form Menasor. Toy, Toon or G2 can be mixed and matched however you please to form Menasor. However the colours vary between the 3 sets so the Menasor frame from the Toon set, will not match the colours from the toy set, specifically with regards to the colouring on the arms.

I am thinking about that. I did that for my Magic Square menasor. You can see it in my avatar.

I may also upscale the car shells I made for MS to fit Monolith's legs. And then maybe some fillers to complete XTB's faux shells. Although I have to wait for the youth trailer for that. I ordered from TCP and I am not sure when they will be getting it. They probably have it coming by boat.

Well you can mark me down for a set right now because your toy set for MS is great.

do you have a thread for your menasor?

I also am in. I want the youth limbs but your excellent 3DP designs will leave me satisfied and happy.

Ok, I have the design in my head. Now I just have to pry it out.

It's going to require removing the two panels and the hitch arm.

I am debating on grabbing the addon set from TFsource since they have it on sale, so I can design pieces to fill in the spaces in those shells. It doesn't look like there is too much of it.

Do the shells attach to dragstrip and dead end? Or to they attach to monolith's arms?

Are those panels and the hitch all screwed or are they pinned? I've knocked out a few pins and it's totally worth it if the figure ends up more slender and less "stuff clips on top of stuff on top of stuff".

    Only request I have...well 2.
1-Make the shells for the legs be able to go right side up
2-make the "toy" version leg shells where they clip around the leg so the whole lower leg looks like a car.

But you know. Whatever you do is cool. I'm just pipe dreaming.

    #2!

Anyone plane on a boxed toy accurate head for combined mode?

I am sure #1 is easy peasy.
No dice on #2 though, sorry. If I do shells, I will be upscaling the shells I made for MS. I am not modelling another car. According to AutoCAD, I spent over 50 hours modelling them. I have too many other rabbit holes to go down right now.

No. But I did make a custom box head and shoulder plate for Gravestone.

No pins. Three very easy screws to remove. It will take you about 50 times longer to find a proper screw driver than to remove the screws.

How about flat panels for the sides that match the color of your cars? I don't have a clue how hard any of this is. I work in injection molding but 3dp is like magic fairy land stuff to me.

It's not hard. But 3D modelling is time consuming. At least for me. It's not my trade. I do 2D prints for a living. 3D modelling was self taught, and I know I am not very efficient. AutoCAD isn't even the right program to use. But I am too stubborn to learn Fusion or Solidworks. And too old.

    Anyway, progress:

See, G1: Season 3 was super predictive about how future combiners would work.

My replacement parts came today for this and what a nightmare it was to to replace the broken part due to where it was. The slider joint on the grey waist bit just snapped in half leaving me with a Motormaster broken in half at the hip. One of the screws you need to separate the pieces is hidden underneath two flaps and I just couldn’t get to it. Just ended up having to snap it and then glue it back together but at lease my Motormaster is whole again. Can confirm these have been my only purchases of XTB figures and I’ll not be going anywhere near any more

Well. It needs some massaging. But for a first draft, this came out really well.
