Probably because the Universe vers was really unpopular around here (?)

    For myself:

    Kingdom Rattrap > T30 Rattrap

I loves T30 Rattrap, and his gimmick especially, but rubbery joint makes me scared. Plus, Kingdom Rattrap is way cuter to bring around.

    Rhinox

I couldn't really decide for this one. I hate T30's sloppy mess of a joint (mine can barely stand before he split himself like JCVD), but I hate the random green splotch on Kingdom Rhinox too.

    Kingdom Waspinator > T30 Waspinator

I prefer the look of Kingdom Wasp, and he's also more articulated.

i like henkei dinobot better in alt mode and i definitely prefer the transformation with the more robotic hands. biggest issue imo is the weapons suck

Rhinox is a weird quandry, I prefer how the T30 looks in sone ways such as his head and guns, but the fact that he is such a floppy mess when it comes to standing up it is difficult to defend

on the other hand I dislike the transformation, head and guns of the Kingdom Rhinox but robot mode is solid and far more fun to play about with due to the stiffer joint tolerances

Out of all them I’ve so far owned only Kingdom Rattrap lol. Plan to add Waspinator to that soon, though. So most of my opinions will be based on images/ videos and not in person.

For Rattrap I definitely prefer Kingdom. While it is smaller I think overall it looks better, I love the transformation and think the rat mode is a lot better (it’s so cute!)

For Rhinox I don’t have an opinion either way. Not a huge fan of Rhinoxes look in general, it’s just okay. Think they both do a pretty good job but neither are for me sadly.

For Waspinator it’s hard, but I think that I’d have to go for Kingdom. I think the colours are lot nice; the darker green, the purple. I also think the proportions are better as well. I prefer the wasp legs as well as the antenna. The head sculpt in both modes as well. That being said I think that the T30 gun and robot mode legs look better. I’m for sure getting Kingdom Waspinator but I still might track down a T30 one as well. They both are very good overall and the closest of three imo.

Hey man, you've made it very clear to the whole board that you don't like Beast Wars. This is a BW themed thread and you can just not vote :p

I didn’t vote. And I didn’t criticize. People might LOVE Beast Wars and yet prefer the original figures, making a “none of the above” option a very valid choice.

[And to be completely honest, I initially didn’t see the “BW” part in the thread title when I first clicked on it. I was admittedly disappointed at the choices, because I like figures from both sets— just not BW ones, as you already pointed out. Hence, the somewhat sarcastic but technically legitimate comment. But really, no hate!! Like what you like, folks!].

    For me:

Rattrap: Kingdom. small and a bit underpainted, but has the proportions, looks, and a non-pain-in-the-ass transformation.

Rhinox: T30. Needs some work to tighten up some joints, but drops fewer balls overall than Kingdom.

Waspinator: T30. The Kingdom toy has an edge in beast mode, paint job, and articulation, but T30 still has the flapping wings, reasonable height, and lack of heavy chocolate-dipped pretzels sticking out of its limbs.

Lol the insect legs are one of my favourite aspects of the Kingdom figure!
But yeah the T30 has a lot of positives. But tbh I don’t think I’ve seen a Waspinator figures I’ve not been in love with, you know?

I prefer Kingdom Waspinator and Rattrap. I don't have the new Rhinox yet but I already like the way it looks more.

I think this Waspinator is amazing. The only issues in robot mode are an inaccurate gun (solved here by stealing his old figures weapon and all Waspinator figs so far have a whole in his but when you take his actual gun out so this fixes two problems) and the bug legs being a bit thick.
Sorry slightly off topic, is it not possible to transform universe Cheetor's feet like this in bot mode? No pics I find seem to demonstrate this so probably not.

Okay, everything in my first post still applies but I will say that one of the reasons I've stuck with the T30 figures is that I already had them and liked them. By sticking with them it saved me around 70 dollars and the trouble of having to track down those figures. Since this year, I was already going for both Kingdom and Studio Series '86. So yes in part I stuck with the T30 figures because it just made things easier for me.

Kingdom Rhinox is still hideous though.

I think there's a lot of assumption that the phrase "T30 Rhinox is better than Kingdom" is a defense of T30. It isn't! I strongly prefer T30 despite being aware of its flaws... I wanted a really good Rhinox to replace it. Having seen and handled Kingdom Rhinox though, still with T30.

See, I chose Kingdom for all three for one big reason. I think the toys are more enjoyable. People go on about what’s more accurate… I don’t care about that. I care about whether a toy looks good, is enjoyable to fiddle with, and transform in a fun way but not frustrating. To me, Kingdom wins all three. The T30 Rattrap is a pain to transform and the other two are just fiddly messes.

Kingdom Rattrap, T30 Waspinator and Kingdom Rhinox. I would say T30 but he can't stand like at all.

It’s weird I feel like I’m the only person that has had the opposite reaction to the rhinox duo. My t30 has nice solid joints and my kingdom is nothing but a limp mess.
Rattrap: kingdom just which he was slightly taller.
Rhinox: t30 wins just had more character but I really like the build of the kingdom. I honestly swap them out now and then.
    Waspinator: kingdom! It just pops.

it’s not sadly. But I shaved the joints down on mine and with a little work you can make them(he’s stored right now so I don’t have pictures) It definitely helps the figure and was a missed opportunity for them to make more accurate robot feet.

Kingdom Rhinox had the potential to be a better figure than T30 Rhinox but needed more development time. Not a fan of bare minimum clearance nor having to flex plastic over for transformation and both issues are present on Kingdom Rhinox. Loose shoulder pivot doesn’t help either.

T30 Rhinox has a great sculpt but terribly loose legs. Joint tightener could mitigate issues on both but whereas it would help T30 more, it wouldn’t solve the clearance issues on Kingdom Rhinox.

Both are flawed and had wasted potential that’s hard to make up for with the sculpts(I don’t mind either, prefer the T30 sculpt and chainsaw gimmick for the guns).
