Thanks all for your kind words! Been playing quite a bit of NBA Jam the last few months, the 90s basketball nostalgia is so good.

I love the Detolf shelves. It comes together nicely in your space. Send a pic with your lounge setup as well.

That is amazing! I love the clean uniform museum-like look and how nothing looks overcrowded.

And I think that room is the size of my whole house. Very jealous.

Thank you so much for being so kind. Yes I'm blessed with the space, though my wife has said no more cabinets! :D

    Fantastic display
Where did you get the lighting and was it difficult to setup?

Cheers for that. I'm in Australia, the lighting is a brand named Mirabella that I bought from Kmart. You control it with their app on your phone. The quality is not up there with Phillips Hue etc but likely better than the really cheap stuff. Each 5m set cost A$49, so roughly US$37.

It wasn't too difficult, just time consuming. Each cabinet has a LED strip with its own power supply. So connecting it up takes a while and I used a few big powerboards. Fortunately the previous owner put powerpoints all over when it was built!

Putting them up is pretty quick. But after I did a few I realised the 3M double sided tape that was prefitted wasn't strong enough and it would end up coming off the surface. So I had to purchase a higher strength 3M spec, retape it to the strip and put it up. That was the most time consuming part.

Thanks man. I just looked up what those arcade1up cabs are, very nice! However I've got all those games anyway on the existing cabinet (has 3,000 on there) so I'm good. :)
