Hmm you're right, I hadn't considered that. Maybe I should wait... Maybe they design the wheels to be at the same level and help support the weight? Ft20 was pretty clever I thought to add the rubber under the feet to prevent slip, but I don't see that being possible here either... Unless the wheels ARE rubber

Even panels like that can actually hold a decent amount of weight, and it helps that companies that have done combiners like Zeta figured out that FT seemingly failed to in that to not made the combiner bots far heavier than they need to be.

So as long as one decides to not have Raiden standing on 1 foot the entire time it should be fine.

I would not worry much. These guys will be 100% plastic. They should support it fine standing. I'm not sure you would be able to do any dynamic poses though.

I wonder if the gun parts on the outside of the feet are meant to add stability as well.

Not really a concern. The main force point will be on the points where those rubber tire squares are. That will actually help stability. the panels will touch, but the brunt of the downward force will be on that rubber square. Add in ankle tilts, and there's nothing to worry about. If anything, the rubber will make it more stable.

Not only that, this isn't an FT combiner. It'll be more lightweight, less heft, because of the lack of die-cast.

I can see where your concern stems from, but physics-wise, it's going to be totally fine. Maybe just no one-footed permanent poses :lol

If it ends up being an issue, I feel like MS or a third party could easily make some thin "shoes" that would go under there to distribute the weight a bit more. I'm not terribly worried though because the "cab" of the train seems like a pretty solid lump. I don't foresee the foot splitting up into parts once weight is applied if it tabs together as well as in the video.

Sorry to ask a bit of a clueless question but anyone have an idea of exact height for these guys? I'm looking to get a set of trainbots but I fortunately have escaped the pull of Masterpiece collecting and am firmly in CHUG - I'm well aware they'll probably tower over my WFC guys, but I that kind of works to their favour

I've seen somewhere saying they're all gonna be around 20cm in height - does that seem right to you guys? Thanks in advance

They are a little taller than MP-10, so over 24 cm (9,5 inches).

Cool, absolute giants in CHUG scale, which while not show accurate make way more sense when you consider they're massive trains.

Now to find out where to sell a kidney...

I will say I am slightly concerned about the ankle tilt. But of course I’ve never handled a zeta bot before

You know, if there ever was a piece that'd be good to do in diecast, it'd be the train wheels. They're solid steel on the real things, would add weight down low, and would help alleviate concerns about being strong enough to support the leg...

ShowZ just cranked the price up $3 each, so about $20 more for all of them. I’m sure they’re selling pretty well!

Were there any significant issues with Zeta's previous combiners that were fixed with later reissues?

I'm thinking I'd like to pick these guys up on the first run, but have no experience with the company.
