So going to post a review of Forging Souls Iron Fist release but couldn't help taking a terrible picture using my terrible phone of a fun little customisation I did of it first. This is their first release with not just a decent cockpit but an actual visible and more important *spacious* cockpit and something like that needs illumination. Just finished reassembly, I'll post better pics of it and a proper review tomorrow. If you want a tl;dr version though it's their best mech release yet.





Really easy to add lighting, a dremel and some nano leds is the tools needed.

 

The 2nd picture stirs my imagination ....


It would be at home in a dark cave, mist filled jungle at night or an alien world .

Or ...in the movie Aliens.

This is why i could never limit myself to just Takara product as much as I like it. There are other 1/60 scale products that are too good to ignore. They are like universe expansion kits.

To be honest I haven't really kept up with MFT offerings. Everything I've bought in the past has been well worth the purchase though. I need to check out what new items they've released.
