Bot look great, choice of arm color though, not so much.

Is the blue on the arms the base coat like on the prototype they posted? And they haven't decided on it yet?

    Screenshot 2021-10-16 at 13.35.40.png

That or they had some left over nano-particle paint from Andras?

I'm not getting this guy myself (FT please) but he looks pretty good. However, if I was getting the set I'd be a bit confused on the choice of colour if the arms are finalised as being blue.

Maybe "bother" isn't the right term for my feelings on it, just sort of an amused "gonna have to use your imagination here" point.

Hmm, XTB did three versions of Menasor.

Wonder if they would consider a "Combiner Wars" version of Defensor with a MP Rook and small Groove for the chest piece?

Maybe the arms are like when XTB tried to do an off-white for Breakdown and ended up matching my forearm.

Similar to how when my mom would say a particular shade of color is "green", but it would look "blue" to me

I’m really on the fence. I think I prefer the XTB Groove over MMC’s, but I’m definitely not going with XTB for Streetwise— shortly after pulling Fuzz from the packaging, I knew I was not keeping it. There are huge compromises in that design, and I’m worried that a similar philosophy was used to create the rest of the team.

These guys have incredible designs but poor colour choices . I guess they thought blue is going to look good on alt mode.

The first character model I found on google also has very blue arms (at least on my screen)

But then looking deeper the "Most Accurate" character model is decidedly grey.

I don't mind the blue...sort of makes it "pop"! But then blue is my favourite colour. We'll see what the final product looks like...could be a lot more grey in hand time will tell...

Looks nice. The colours are off. For a realistic motorcycle to not have a visible engine block is weird-looking.

I'm both images the arms are the same color as the "beginning" off the exhaust. I wish they would have stuck with that option.

Also when will the rest of 3P learn what some of 3P and Takara already know. Give use positive emotive faces instead of an angry face and maybe another neutral face, don't just copy and past a yelling face on every single figure and call it a day.
    Looking at you Fanstoys.

Hmmm, first the "more white than grayish" Streetwise, and now Groove with bluish arms for no particular reason. I like the look of both bots but I'm not fond of color choices here for what's supposed to be the toon set.

Could have shown he had attachable canons.

The swapping symbol on 3P revels I've always associated with big changes, like from Toon to Toy or Comic style.

Excellent point. Part of me thinks this is not the final color and one of their goofy test shots with different off whites for differentiation. However, if not this is another mistake that these goofy companies make with trying to follow a model or what they see in a cartoon and interpret cell shading in the absolute worst way. The off white for the legs is good and arms should match. The resource you provide seems to be a capture from the toon that gives the appearance the arms are like a nardo grey color or maybe off white but darker. Like the issues with the Kingorilla/Kingzilla, I think companies like this get scared of a very white figure being too bland as well and what to show whatever differentiation. I personally think a pearlescent off white comes off looking exceptional in many cases as opposed to the off white used here and on Streetwise.

They aren't attachable cannons. It's the forks of the bike. You can transform the wheel two different ways, one where it's in the back and the other where it's folded up and the forks become cannons.

It's XTB...they have an extensive history of doing weird colors and then 'fixing' it with a reissue.
