All three are pretty much side-steps for me.

Each of them has things that are improvements over the other, but none of them are a winner over the other for me.

Just to clarify, everyone can 100% post an essay-long post comparing the figures and expect others to not come and make a "multi-quote, essay long, name calling" response on your opinion. Similarly it is expected from everyone to not make similar responses to other's opinions in the thread.
Even if it meant to be playful, tone is hard to convey through text and it would understandably be taken the wrong way. so let's keep the thread from devolving into a long argument through multiple pages.
Civil discussion is allowed of course, it was never said to not discuss the figures. In fact it is encouraged and it has already been happening in the thread. What I am trying to avoid is the name calling, passive aggressive discussion specified above and in the intro post.

    ...

Agreed! I planned similarly to you, except I was also planning on getting Kingdom Waspinator and Rhinox for an eventual Season 2 Display if they were definite improvements in my eyes.
That didn't happen, but I definitely agree with you that the T30 figures look great and fit right with Kingdom. Some of the original figures do too with some paint! I'm so thankful that we have these options.

I’m sure he falls under that same “do you even have to ask?” Category as Cheetor. ;)

I wanted to focus on the Thrilling 30 figures as they are more recent (if 7 years ago can be considered recent) but in hindsight I could have added the Dinobots and the Cheetors just to have those statistics. I know of 1 member who prefers Universe Cheetor for example (mainly bc their Kingdom Cheetor was the worst QC mess). Haven't seen someone preferring Universe Dinobot though but there has be someone out there.

Also Dachande, could you change the thread title to "Poll: BW Generations - T30 or Kingdom?" Thank you in advance!

I seem to remember both Universe toys being pretty roundly unpopular when they came out. The deco choices on Dinobot in particular pissed people off. IMO they're both perfectly fine toys, but it's not surprising that there's no arguments about Dinobot and Cheetor the way there are over the the rest of the Kingdom BW toys.

10th Anniversary Optimus Primal and Megatron though, there's some argument potential.

I am on the fence with Rattrap. I kinda like the accesories and size of T30 more. Alt mode is probably kingdom.

Rhinox, I was on the fence for a while. I have the Legends Rhinox not Hasbro, and I think it is DEFINITELY better than Kingdom now after handling them for a while. Kingdom has nicer joints and a little better build quality I think, but T30/Legend takes every other category, esp. head sculp.

Waspinator I haven't got Kingdom yet, but based on pictures I'll be sticking with my Legends I think.

In addition: I have the Legends Black Arachnia, and I think I prefer the Kingdom. It's not as good on paint/colors but the build qualitiy is better.

T30 because of the fact of the Kingdom Rattrap being too small, Rhinox's design is based on Transformers app game, & Waspinator got the wrong eye color and legs are swapped.

When it comes to Rattrap, I prefer the new Kingdom version only because it scales better overall. I do like the extra features on T30 like the demolitions in his arms but I always thought he was too big.

For Rhinox, I've got to go with T30. He's not perfect but the overall robot mode looks much closer to the animation model and he has better chain guns of doom. Kingdom Rhinox doesn't look bad though but that headsculpt though looks strange.

Waspinator is a little harder to decide. Both Kingdom and T30 have pros and cons for me. I do like T30's robot mode and weapon looking closer to the overall animation model. On the flip side, I do like Kingdom Waspinator's wings not having that flapping gimmick and also he appears to scale a bit better overall. For this, I will probably have to get Kingdom Waspinator and then compare them in person to ultimately decide which one I like better and decide to keep on display.

If Kingdom Rattrap was a Deluxe, I would have gone for him, as he looks less finicky and more show accurate than T30 Rattrap. As is, I've gone with the latter.

T30 Waspinator I prefer a fair bit over the Kingdom version, and T30 Rhinox is unquestionably my favourite of his figures. Both are significantly improved by the LGEX decos though.

Kingdom versions all the way for me.

Caveat emptor though, I'm not really a beast wars fan at all.

Well in that case I'll go and change my original post back to the long point-by-point essay I originally wrote.

I appreciate what T30 did for BW, but I feel that Kingdom was a more polished attempt at giving us updates of popular BW characters. It’s more of a dedicated line for fans of that era in Transformers history than T30 ever was.

If thrilling 30 was the end all be all, how is Hasbro supposed to make more money?

First, that is a cool group shot and the paint you mentioned on the original figures looks pretty good! And second, I also want to thank you for posting that picture. In my earlier post, I was really on the fence on Waspinator since I have not had an opportunity to get the Kingdom version yet to be able to fairly compare it to the T30 version in person. But seeing your group shot, I think that settles it in my mind that I will be sticking with T30 Waspinator. I was already leaning toward that version because of the more accurate robot mode and weapon but seeing how he looks with the other Kingdom figures, that clinches it for me. :)

The voting results for T30 Rhinox and Waspinator over their Kingdom counterparts are as I would expect, but the Rattrap preference is genuinely surprising.

I'm sticking with vintage original and vintage reissues for my BW, other than a few exceptions. I'd rather my BW figures blend in with my BW II and BW Neo figures than my Generations figures.

Kingdom Rattrap wins for actually looking like a rat and the character.

T30 and Kingdom Rhinox are tied.

T30 Waspinator is better mostly due to the bug legs though Kingdom does some cool stuff like the eyes and having proper wings.

Probably because there is no T30 Dinobot.
