This is not the thread to endlessly argue with others about which figure is best. So no trying to "prove" an opinion wrong (no matter how "factual" you think you are), no essay-long, multi quote posts defending the figure you like best, no name calling or passive aggressiveness. Thank you!

Very straightforward, which particular figure do you like best? Feel free to comment your reasoning or to just vote in the poll. Here's the options (comparison pics by Larkin's Lair):

Keep it civil and don't put others down for liking a toy you don't!

The T30 figures were good, but I really don’t think the Kingdom figures are better, and I mean that in a good way. It’s like were one fails, the other exceeds. They balance out to the point neither is really better then the other.

I agree with @Purple Heart ‘s assessment. It’s kind of apples and oranges. I have the T30 figures for each of those characters and have picked up Kingdom Rattrap. I have no desire to pick up the Kingdom versions of Rhinox or Waspinator. The added articulation is tempting, but I just prefer the looks of the T30s.

Agree with you both, I really feel that they are all mostly "sidegrades." I am biased towards T30 as they were my childhood figures and I was going to keep them no matter what, but the Kingdom figures aren't really an improvement (and not worse by any means).

Personally, what keeps me from preferring the Kingdom figures over the T30 ones is two things: Rattrap's and Waspinator's size and Rhinox's headsculpt.

That's literally it, and since scale is not something everyone cares about I see why others like the Kingdom figures more. Similarly, the added articulation of the Kingdom figures is nice but it is something I personally don't value too much, while others understandably do.

Rhinox - definitely T30, I'll just leave it at that
Rattrap - I prefer Kingdom in almost every way, but T30 has its charms too
Waspinator - I'll abstain from this one. I think T30 looks better but I'm not a fan of it as a toy

I was never quite happy with the T30 figures. One by one, they all made their way into storage long before Kingdom (or WFC proper) was a thing. I willingly gave Kingdom figures a chance based on this fact alone, despite owning "good" versions of the characters already.

I like Kingdom Rattrap because he is smaller and simpler, and because his beast mode has more charm.

I like Kingdom Rhinox better because I like the proportions and the fact that it reminds me more of the show model. T30 Rhinox reminds me more of the toy, and I HATE that look on him. Nice head, though.

Waspy will get a better response when I own him, but he already looks more emotive and dynamic, which was a major issue with all 3 of these guys.

Voted: Kingdom Rattrap, T30 Rhinox, Kingdom Waspinator. Waspinator's purple eyes and wings really pop in photos. Kingdom Rhinox is not a very good figure. I just prefer the small scale alt mode with Rattrap.

I don't know which is more accurate, but I like the T30 versions better, especially Rhinox looks cooler to me.

I voted for everything except Kindgom Waspinator, and that's only because I don't have Kingdom Waspinator.

I would hate to get off on a rant here but...

When Kingdom started my plan was to basically build the new Beast Wars figures around those three and I'm glad I did.

Kingdom Rattrap is fine but always feels way too small compared to the other figures. Rattrap was only a little shorter than Cheetor so the Kingdom version is way too small. Also, the T30 has better accessories, like a detention charge, and the rat mode is way more expressive, can stand on his hind legs, and even has a fur hood to cover up the robot head when you stand him up in rat mode. To me for all of the little extra things the T30 version can do he is almost like a little masterpiece too. You just have to make sure that you transform his arms correctly and shave and round off some of the plastic from behind the gold part of his robot mode legs so it doesn't stress the hinges.

Kingdom Waspinator looks fine but the transformation is way too similar to the Kingdom version to really see him as much of an improvement. Plus the Kingdom version just seems too skinny and I like how the T30 version has more height and bulk to him. The bug legs on the Kingdom version look too thick and stick out too much from the main body of the figure, the bugs legs on the T30 version are much closer to the body and give Waspintor a cleaner look. Also, I don't like the big purple wings on the Kingdom version, they remind me too much of the old Charlotte Hornets logo and I can't unsee it. I did some paintwork on the T30 version and I really like it now and it feels a little bit more like my own figure.

Finally, my favorite Transformer of all time is Rhinox and when I saw the Kingdom version on Youtube only one word came to mind: hideous. Seriously that figure is so ugly, the colors are wrong, the head is wrong, the body shape of the Rhino looks off, the guns are too small, the fake rhino jaw/chest plate, and on top of all that the legs are a pain to transforms, and look terrible just being some wrapped like that. I'll admit the T30 figure isn't as possible as the Kingdom version and hopefully, you get one with good hips and have some clear nail polish/floor polish ready to thinker those joints but even with those few flaws I still pick the T30 Rhinox any day of the week over the Kingdom version. The Kingdom Rhinox was based on the Earth Wars model, which was based on the T30 figure, which was based on the original show model and toy. So the Kingdom figure is like a copy, of a copy of a copy, and by this point, the copy looks bad and the image quality is getting super fuzzy. With Waspinator and Rattrap, the Kingdom versions are still fine, but with Rhinox man if you can find a good one get the T30 Rhinox.

... of course, that's just my opinion, I could be wrong.

As you can see the T30 figures still look really good with the Kingdom figures.

Upsize Kingdom Rattrap by like half an inch and he's perfect, where as T30 is just good. Haven't handled Kingdom Waspinator yet, but he gives all appearances of being a lower-budget T30. The only thing Kingdom Rhinox has going for it in my eyes is the wide jaw chest, and even that gets washed out by extremely weird and frequently off-putting design choices elsewhere.

I don't own any of these 6 and don't plan on owning any of them. Having said that, T30 all the way everyday.

Dont own any of the T30 figures anymore and have no interest in getting them again. My T30 Rhinox always had trouble standing, he loved to flop backwards. T30 Rat Trap while having some nice features like the forearm bombs is too big to work with the Kingdom beasts. T30 Waspinator was my favorite of those three, but again, is it that much better to pay whatever the aftermarket price on him is when I can get the Kingdom figure at retail soon?

Kingdom Rattrap: I was never fond of the T30 version. Way to fiddly to transform. Kingdom may be tiny, but is a lot more fun.

T30 Rhinox: So much better than Kingdom. I do appreciate the added articulation of the new version, but there are way too many drawbacks to it for me to enjoy the overall figure. T30 has more "life" to it as well.

T30 Waspinator: Sometimes added articulation just doesn't make a figure better. Kingdom Waspinator looks good, but the dark purple wings and eyes, weird gun and "chocolate pretzel" legs just don't work for me. T30 could have better articulation, but it's still a better figure.

Edit: Kind of surprised there isn't a choice offered for T30 Dinobot or Kingdom Dinobot.
