Anyone interested in this curious chap :
    NBK - Gun Prime?

He looks kinda like Cybertron Metroplex to me - he's 50cm (19.5") tall.

So pure guesswork you could redeco the Stunticons as the Motorvators? There’s a few sports cars in that mix…..

SG Megatron is a mixed bag….

    Positives
    Robot mode looks really good
    Tight joints
    Robot paint jobs very clean

    Negatives
Red paint spills on the white nose cone
Alt mode is a total mess and rivals Apeface in the shitty aircraft contest
Jet wings don’t stay in place
    Nowhere to store extra parts

overall he’s a decent toy, the robot mode especially works, and the sword and buckler shield is a nice gladiator homage. But the plane is utter garbage, and looks like utter bollocks from any angle except jaunty and from above. When he’s in tank mode he’s both better overall, but my copy really struggles to stay clipped in place at both the legs and the torso, so even a slight knock and he unfolds.

basically this is less heroic Megatron the freedom fighter, and more like Ace McCloud as a robot, he holds his arms aloft and random pieces plug into various holes kinda but not quite creating something fun…. Power but not quite extreme

There is no specific UK priced and shipped section of TFS-Express anymore. This is now Omegalock.

You can still order from TFS-Express and it will come from China. And most items are usually cheaper. The new Zeta Bruticus re-release is £300 shipped from TFS but near enough £400 on Omega

Couldn't sleep this past night so I did the logical and opened a couple of recent arrivals,

MOTU Origins Ram Man is fun, much like the vintage figure which I had he's not the most posable and the springy legs gimmick is a bit crap but I like the options with the weapons and the alternate head so still nice to have as a buddy for Fisto.

I only plan on one more figure (Mosquitor) and a horse from this line which I'm sticking to...honest! :D

Ultimate Edition Ric Flair has 2 amazing headsculpts and the posability is good but is far from being an "Ultimate" version of him,

Oversized open palm hands are an ongoing issue with Mattel & no closed fists either which IMO should be standard for everyone.

The body mould is a bit too thin overall although with Flair it's more understandable as he didn't really have a physique like anyone else so there's little room for reuse. The upper body works OK but the legs are too scrawny as is also the case with the Stone Cold from the same wave which uses the same ones.

Cloth robe is shite. I'd have preferred they went the same route as the entrance attire for Bret Hart and Shinsuke Nakamura earlier in the line where they did soft plastic with swappable arms.

A minor issue with the accuracy is his knee pads which're too small to reposition just below his knees where Flair always wore them in real life.

All that being said it's likely to be the best Flair available for the forseeable future as he's no longer under a WWE contract.

If AEW ever sign him to some sort of deal it'd be intresting to see what Jazwares could do...maybe they could make a more accurate body mould and use AEW's current connections with the NWA to get the rights to make the old Heavyweight belt to include in the set as that's one thing the WWE doesn't own.

"Two minds working as one, Weirdwolf! Two minds, two bodies, one thought: getting you off this planet for good!"

    - The Transformers S04E09: 'First Principals' (5/5)

You'll be sorry when Hosehead turns out to be made from the lower halves of two Impactors wedged together.

But as for Siren, we know that Hasbro likes to stretch mould use to breaking point and beyond these days (*glances uncomfortably at Siege Sideswipe and ER Cliffjumper*), and having two separate headmaster car moulds at the exact same size, same level of functionality and similar designs would be a tough sell at the business case level.

I think the best we could hope for is a situation like ER Wheeljack and Sunstreaker, a Trigger's Broom remould where they end up replacing nearly every component.

I don't mind saying where they are filming, and in theory who is what vehicle should be fine (toys would give this away anyway) but even then, who is what vehicle can ruin dramatic plot twists. That dotm bit where soundwave reveals himself to be carlys car all along was an awesome twist, which would have been completely flat if beforehand i knew soundwave transformed into a mercedes.

Lol. It does have its use for updates on figures as the news forum dumps it in the existing posts so tricky to see new developments there. But yeah, as soon as it gets to a sponser post i abort the page anyway.

    Kinda, but...

    Ninja'd by the medic:
Yeah Omegalock stand to include fast shipping and 20% vat before their profit markup.

I tend to do a conversion cost on the day, and work from there. I look at TFS-Express (shipped, not the fastest one) plus 20% plus £12 (because if I get snagged there's an admin fee), versus Omegalock versus TFS-Express shipped (no add ons).

I know TFS-Express tends to skip by customs, but it's not a given, so I judge all three and look at the potential savings versus potential overspend. Sometimes it is more sensible to use Omegalock (did this for FT/RP Soundwave recently), other times TFS-Express (reissue FT dinos, also recently).

Still top tier Megatron. Looks great, poses wonderfully, transformation is fun and the alt-mode is brilliant.

    PEW PEW!

Yesterday my Hasbro Pulse sale order of retro Weirdwolf and Skullcruncher arrived and this morning I got round to opening them.
Firstly Weirdwolf is brilliant. The transformation and the posable body is a proper treat, why hasn't this guy been repurposed into any number of new toys.
Skullcruncher was nothing new as I already had Krok, however the joints are generally tighter and the colour really pops.
    IMG_20211015_104837335.jpg IMG_20211015_104650155.jpg
As a team they look fabulous together and I'm glad I have them all (except Scorponok, let's not talk about missing him).
But there is a problem. Something that been bugging me since I put Snapdragon on display.
Both of the Horrorcons are (IMO) to small/short. They barely stand above the others in a group shot.
So the. I put them alongside Octane and it's all gone wrong.
IMG_20211015_105117464_BURST000_COVER.jpg Apeface barely reachs shoulder height and Snapdragon only clips it due to his conehead.
I know size changes from wave to wave but what's seen cannot be unseen and the Horrorcons look like a couple of tiny dorks alongside the other triple changers.
Well at least the retro headmasters are great.

Sparkless Seeker is £35, Megs Spoiler Box is £50 at Smyths @Max Tower.

The first wave MOTU Revelation figures are £20. Still don't know if I want those even if I do get a hundred quid voucher tbh. And I think that's gonna have to be converted into a Smyths gift card anyway they're taking so long to send it (spending date is 30/11).
