Set C showed up recently. Though well documented at this point, I am quite disappointed with Hook. So much of his design feels like it was never finished or reviewed. His head is functionally stationary because of his shoulders but NA gave him a ball jointed neck anyways which makes me think they were completely aware of this issue and chose to ignore it. This is compounded by the fact that he can't move his waist so it is nearly possible to get him into a dynamic pose. The waist I'm more willing to excuse because of the combination mode but the lack of head articulation makes him feel like a much older legends figure and not one that was released in 2021.

 

Certainly sucks with the notion of modern engineering allowing for better articulation. But, given Hook's personality, quite the arrogant snob (almost CARTOONISHLY (snicker, snicker) , being a bit stiff would not be that much of hindrance in capturing who he is. At least for him.

Nope and I’m glad they don’t have one. Not into gimmicky stuff like that. It’s a solid torso and that’s all I need.

NA Devastator looks good next to MS Menasor but i'm still holding out for the remaining Magic Square figures

 

If you ask me, Devy should have his legs transformed differently.
Scrapper should have his legs out like robot mode and have a panel fill his upper legs.
Mixmaster should have his body get longer by double hinch to sepperate his back body and front body to make it longer.
Already a good idea to make his mixing drum longer like this, but it has to be even longer.

 

Put some time aside to paint the eyes.
