Seeing William Shatner telling Jeff Bezos "everyone needs to experience this" after his trip to "space". Like any regular Joe will ever be able to afford a trip. Reminded me of the scene in Jurassic Park.
I listened to one of the broadcasts of the launch calling Shatner "the Captain of the Enterprise, now the world's oldest astronaut" and everyone else on the ride "Customers." ...That says a lot actually. Space flight is a privilege, not the right of all sentient beings whose souls aren't bound to the Earth. In the meantime, this was my joke take on the flight: "Shatner's comments before launch were "Suck it (Scott) Bakula, check this s** out (Patrick) Stewart, and here's your glass ceiling (Kate) Mulgrew!!" ...DeForrest Kelly and Leonard Nemoy couldn't be reached for comment." ...and one joke about where George Takai would sit. you all know why... "oh my." *oh that one's going to get me in trouble I just know it.*
Just because my adult cat started drinking milk from a nursing cat. It was a lot of fun to watch, especially since she still has little kittens. Cheeky cat.
"No one can be told what the Matrix is. You have to see it for yourself..." Kup: "What do you know about it, lad...?" Ironhide's ghost: "FFS, Kup, we don't have time for one of your exaggerated war stories..." Daniel: "I love irony..."
