I'm not disagreeing with you, but these still aren't cases of Lorenzo actually maligning the finished products of the movies in a demonstrable way. Even if Bumblebee was an outlier, it turned out just fine, Bayverse connections or not, and whoever's call it was to strip out Bayverse connections or not.

And him talking about Quintessa separately from the movie didn't impact the movie itself either.

I'm more than happy to call the guy out on all of the stupid stuff he's said or done, but I still am not convinced it has had an explicit impact on the movies themselves, besides the one case I mentioned of the failed springboarding of the TFCU out of TLK.

The fact it's a) completely ridiculous and b) was literally ripped off something else disproves it.

I cannot see "the Terrorcons are the Bayverse Autobots from a dark future corrupted by Unicron" as something that's actually going to happen, principally because it sounds like somebody who watched the Kingdom cartoon on Netflix, took Nemesis Prime's backstory and changed the names. That's the biggest hint it's bullshit - it's completely uninventive.

And also, 99.9% of people watching the film wouldn't get it - and of the 0.01% who got it, 99.9% of them wouldn't care.
