It would have been GREAT! having DC Fandome and Pulsecon in one week would have been fantastic having Legacy (and possibly ROTB news) reveals along with The Batman trailer and more.

I remember following TLK's production through the Ragin Nation's channel up until the release. It was so sad seeing him disappointed with the film, seeing as he's such a hype-man for everything Transformers. Man that movie had some wasted potential. I hope this movie doesn't turn out the same.

 

He needs to look presentable after all  

 

I joined during the lead up to ROTF so I've been around for every "pre-release" period since then. It's always been memorable. The lead up to ROTF was incredible especially as we got slow snippets of new info, and sometimes false info. It was always cool when a new car showed up and people were trying to guess who it was. People were all over Sideswipe's Corvette (he was codenamed Stinger at the time).

We also had Roberto Orci himself on the boards for open Q&A. It was a great thing.

I do find it funny they have to wash the vehicle when, really, you'd think that for the most realistic way to film, they'd actually leave on grime and other crap that would build up. Especially given how he's chasing a truck that's vomiting up coal black smoke.

EDIT: To clarify, given the response to my posts in the past, this is not a criticism as I know exactly WHY they're doing this, I'm just remarking on a quirk with the process of filming itself.

 

Just remember Wheeljack your going be having that alt mode for the full movie.

Remember with AOE, though, the teaser being shown at the Superbowl was the first thing we got, and that was only released a couple of weeks later than ROTB is planned for. There doesn't seem to be any real pattern as far I can tell.

Ah didn’t know wasn’t following stuff like that. I didn’t follow a TF film marketing wise or in general till TLK as a kid I only knew a film was coming out by either toys or seeing something of TV for it.

And I sincerely hope all the folks who grew up with BW/BW afficionados get faithful portrayals of the Maximals and Predacons. It sucks that the original VAs weren't considered, even though I like Ron Perlman, as well as the fan cast list laszlo ven did on his YT channel. I felt the BW vet's pain when it was revealed that the ROTB folks weren't using Garry Chalk and the other original VAs. Reminds me when folks had to nearly riot to get Peter Cullen rightfully considered as OP back in TF07 pre-production.

 

Wait has it been confirmed none of the original Beast Wars VA's aren't gonna reprise their roles?

This is fucking insane... 

Edit: And yes I know Ron Perlmen is coming back, just would like to know if the old VAs are confirmed to not come back.
