It's crazy how much I love this Brawn. Never a favorite character of mine, and I know he doesn't have the double jointed knees and elbows that would have made him better. But he just looks awesome! Absolutely represents the character straight from the show best, and without looking so hyper-toon as to be boring. And once you figure out the transformation tricks (and file down around those tabs for the under panel) he's a joy to transform back and forth. So glad I got him.

Whether it was for better or worse I've painted the helmet.

There he is :)  Overall, the transformation is not that bad in my opinion and the engineering is very clever (for example, I love how he and Ironhide are pretty much the same size in vehicle modes but completely different in robot modes, I'm so glad I decided to take him off the shelf as well for the comparison :D ) it's just those couple steps like shifting his hips back and forth between the modes that made the transformation very scary   I was totally sure something was going to break at some point but luckily the figure survived in one piece so I can highly recommend it :D  My little g1 mp collection is growing!

Yup, I'd pay about 100$, but more than that pfft, I'd rather buy some video games or put that to different bot.

But I can appreciate it looks nice.

Hi, anyone knows how to loosen the waist rotation? Mine is totally locked and the worst is that it is locked in a slightly rotated position

Found it! I had to untab the backpack to allow the waist rotation. Put him straight and aligned… I think I’ll never move that joint again

I haven't been keeping an eye on this guy lately, but has there been any hint of a Hunk reissue from FT? I have one already, but a friend of mine is eager to get one as well.

Alternatively, is Hunk still available from anywhere for a decent price?

    Thanks very much!

It's not under $120 USD, but Robotoybase has him in stock, which may still be less than eBay:
