Transformers – MDLX Optimus Prime – threezero store

※ In development. Final product may vary from promotional images.

threezero is pleased to add to our new MDLX series with the second figure in our exciting Transformers line-up, MDLX Optimus Prime!

MDLX is a new series of articulated figures capturing the spirit of threezero’s renown DLX series at a smaller scale with a similar high range of articulation and great durability resulting in a groundbreaking affordable price.

The Transformers MDLX line of figures are based on the original 1980s The Transformers cartoon and toy line, as redesigned by threezero Art Director Kelvin Sau. The iconic designs have been remixed to incorporate threezero’s hyper-detailed mechanical aesthetic, offering a familiar and exciting new presentation. Transformers MDLX figures feature threezero’s unique die-cast zinc alloy and engineer-grade plastic frame system, which retains the tactile playability and durability of the figure. Each figure is finished off with the detailed craftsmanship and weathered paint application that threezero is known for, bringing beloved Transformers characters to a new format for all to enjoy.

Transformers – MDLX Optimus Prime is approximately 7” (178 mm) tall, with approximately 48 points of articulation and a die-cast metal frame. Accessories include Ion Blaster, Energon Axe, Autobot Matrix of Leadership, and five pairs of interchangeable hands.

    Features:
    • Officially Licensed by Hasbro

Giving this guy yellow eyes and wheels would have made him perfect, for me anyway.

    Looks great!

What's the over/under on the price?

    If BB was 60$ for 5", that's 12bucks an inch. Prime is 7" x 12 = 84, I'm guessing $89.99

I’ve been unable to not buy 3Z dlx pieces. I feel like I’m gonna have the same issue with the MDLX line.

Great looking figure. I wish there was a little more detail on the legs like his upper half, but I still like the look over all. And I'm a fan of any Prime head sculpt that has the splayed out antennas.

It's always fascinated me how the Transformers fandom simultaneously hates things with simplistic transformations but also has the capacity to support these types of high-priced non-transforming statues/figures.

    Different strokes for different folks.

I immediately pre ordered the Bumblebee and I’ll be in on this Optimus Prime. Honestly I’m in for this entire line.

Really bummed these designs are being at a smaller size than the DLX stuff they were doing for the movie figures lately because I absolutely love that size but that quality at this smaller size is still an absolute must buy for me. Nobody is producing Transformers product that excites me more than Threezero these days.

I do wish the viser was extended more and tilted down a bit, as it looks odd in some angles, but I’m excited to get this. Looks like a fun figure.

Love it! But not at that size. Too small for me.

All in on this line. I\'m sorry this destroys Flame Toys offering across the board and yes I own Flame Toys line  Tarn, Drift & Optimus. Time to sell off.
