I think I'll get the Falcon, assuming if Mega can actually distribute it. Getting a second complete Noble Team isn't a bad idea and it's one of my favorite vehicles from Reach.

Now let's hope we can actually buy it when it releases.

Good suggestions for He-Man news pages? hemanworld.com is my current replacement, but it doesn't get updated very often.

Maybe just because there isn't anything new to report.  

 

Not likely anyone has really noticed, but I think it's cool the UPC for the Anniversary pack ends with 117 (if you ignore that last 0)

How is the MCX Castle Grayskull? Debating on getting it or the UCS LEGO Tumbler reissue.

The scale lets them add lots of little touches like a full jail cell and secret doors.

Maybe try nail polish?!?! That stuff sticks to anything. Just get matte stuff instead of gloss. Then, for kicks, do your toes.  

 

I missed it too till I went looking after you posted, I had noticed that the news page was gone and the discussion on those boards has also kind of died down lately too

 

The seller suggested Tamiya primer as he has had no issues from it bonding. I was just using my tried and true Rustoleum. I have considered nail polish in past I have just never gone out of the way to purchase any. I will likely restrain myself to just painting the Commander's head if I do go that route.

The head is surprisingly detailed. The Cobra emblem is well done and the eyes are nicely rendered. It's a shame the Rustoleum didn't hold up as it really brought out the work in the print.

 

Some plastic has a release agent mixed in it so it doesn't stick to molds or 3d printer tables. Maybe wash it with soap or wipe it with alcohol before priming?

The detail does look good. Hope it shows after.

 

I gave it an 90% isopropyl scrub before doing anything with it.
