    I don’t think you have to be.

    More choice in this area and with the KO MP44 as well, prices have been driven down for MP OPs which is a good thing for us at the moment.

    I think @Knightdramon was discussing Maketoy Seekers the other day and how earlier this year they would sell for £300. Now down to circa £100 with MP52 and the DS interpretation of Starscream out.

    Btw- I’ve bought TE-01 from Omegalock. I just hope his plain muted colours are ok when pairing up with IT-01 Megs. I was considering KO MP44 but wanted the figure to not have tabbing/suspect leg issues. For £60 that’s a bargain on MP OP. Sacrificed increased posability of MP44 for reliability with TE-01.

    Still resisting buying doubles of stuff I don't really need on Pulse. Boredom buying is a terrible, terrible idea.

    @Apollux - I'm looking forward to Galactus, but in that kind of "I know it's a year away so manage your expectations" way. I've already got a couple of Surfers so I'm good for a Defenders line up, my Old Toybiz Strange is still good for standing at the back handwaving duty.

    Strangely enough I'm not fussed about Star Sabre in anything like the same way which is making me wonder if I should have bothered - he made it well over the line anyway and didn't need my help. Of course it got charged this morning..... IMG_20211013_121932.jpg

    P.s. Tell your Hasbro friend to make Classic Adam Warlock & the Magus. Ta.

    Did the mini-sharks that were packaged with that awful Hot Rod (Cyberverse?) ever get the blind bag assortment release they were suspected of?
    They are great.

    In my news, I just bought someone to add to the 'evil and purple' end of the table at the low-key boot this morning, although he wont stay on my desk as he is too big, RID Megs (and a pink Ranger but I digress), I am not a huge fan of this figure, as his various modes are a bit meh, me and beasts don't get on, and getting one complete second hand is almost impossible, although this one has both his ears and feet/heads, missing middle arms and something (yet another head?) from behind his actual noggin, and he was spared a possibly horrible death for 2 quid.
    This selection is missing Dr Doofenschmirtz...don't know where he has gone now.....probably making an inator somewhere....

    My spare (very cheap) OS Devy leaves my office this week, because if there are a few people you need to keep sweet, one of them should be your geeky mate with a 3D printer and a partial love of Transformers (especially as the Mrs wont let a printer in my house).

    Laters.

    True, I'm mostly buying Star Sabre for the combining element, and the twin hopes that it'll be more 'playable' than the MP and hopefully lead to Deathsaurus.

    I'm all in on Galactus, the Marvel team wisely launched that retro Fantastic Four Wave at roughly the same time, so people like me can complete a FF display in one go.

    With the recent GOTG 3 casting news I'd be quite surprised if we don't get a mainline MCU Warlock/Magus and exclusive Comic accurate versions.

    I'm still pestering my mate about a re-issue Sauron. It's a shame he doesn't make these decisions :(

    I got the M-63 kit and ended up selling it right away. As much as I appreciate the homage to Energon Megs' mold, it's far too far-fetched to be a good homage. Even with the kit.

    Got the two Gnaws I ordered form the ulse sale and... eh. They're ok. Only got one opened so far. The one I opened looked the best of the two but has various bits of paint splatter and bleed, floppy ankle tilts and elbow and worryingly tight shark arms. The other has obvious paint splatter, an odd score/dent in the lower teeth and a bit of something or other blocking one eye). QC aside they'd be quite fun. Quite a nice transformation, though the shark arms feel like they'll snap off if I try moving them too much, so may have to pick a mode and stick to it.

    An improvement on the TR ones, though not so much vs the MF-26 KO ones, which work out about 25 for the three pack at the mo.

    In theory, I've got another Gnaw coming from Sonner, as well as Rodimus (but who knows when sonner will actualyl deliver anything at all...), then the rest of the SG stuff from Pulse... and honestly I'm thinking about giving up and cancelling the lot.

    Also wondering if it was wise to back Victory Saber because if that has similar problems, it's going to be a lot harder to get fixed.

    Of course, I could just be having an excessively grumpy day...

    My second one is due tomorrow. They gave me the option of returning for refund or (stock permitting) a replacement, but when I had to return Scourge, by the time it got back it was sold out.

    Gnaw seems to be a QC shitshow tbh, I've two so far and both have quibbles as everybody has mentioned.

    Nearly sacked off SG myself only I already owned Prime and Ratchet plus they even made Blurr look good.

    I had the same thought about Saber after Galactus was revealed to not have ratcheted knees.

    @MyTea Boc,
    Glad everything's going well with the 2nd Minibot!

    @motorthing,
    With Adam Warlock about to enter the MCU I reckon his chances of getting a new classic ML figure as well have just improved. Also thanks for reminding me how nice that Thanos is, I've had the Diamond Select one for ages but wouldn't mind another comic style version of him at some point.

    We are peas in a pod my friend - moved on my V1 KOMP44, because I've got TE-01 inbound from Show Z at a ridiculously good price. Peaks and troughs in 3p/KO world that's for sure.

    Some of those SS86 Gnaws are hit and miss on paint apps/dinks and marks. I had to return one of the three I got from Smyths. They had a restock and had x9 in and 60% of them had some minor defect.

    Totally agree with you the MFT KO Gnaws are fantastic on paint apps and accessories. You get three for the price of one SS86 Gnaw so defintely worth having them. They come with metallic painted guns as well as the antennas which the officials TR Gnaws lack.

    With regards to Sonner. I emailed them on the 8th Oct. Below is my original enquiry to my order I placed back in May and the reply received yesterday:

    @Brum Bot - absolutely. Great choice! I nearly put in to buy your KO MP44. Just didn’t want hassle of iffy leg joints. TE-01 is so clean in bot mode. Granted it lacks posability of MP44 but has enough in that department for me

    I gave up this morning after they've still failed to come back to me with any actual information and have asked them to cancel and refund.

    I’m not far off following suit and cancelling my order. Will send them one more email on Friday and see what response I get to that and then start the refund process. Luckily for me it’s only £22 tied up in that order but a few of you have like £100+ orders outstanding with them.
