Gotcha. Still, the Figuarts are aimed at older collectors, so they seriously need to show more love towards the early Heisei sereis and the Showa era. We need some villains in the Showa era stuff because Shadow Moon can only take on the riders so many times before it's boring.
Ultraman figuarts seem to be doing well. Then again, it’s possible that the continued support comes from funding.
Pretty sure the Ultra franchise and it's kaiju are more popular in Japan than Kamem Rider and most of it's kaijin
The real question we should be asking is when are we going to get Kamen Rider ZAIA? I need t h e p r e s i d e n t.
Ultraman figuarts are much easier to obtain than most other series (I.E. stores like Tokyo lifestyle). Kamen rider is pretty much the tokutsatsu of Japan. Kamen rider figuarts are famous because it’s THE first franchise to make figuarts.
I think the Figuarts Grand Zi-O is a pretty great figure. It doesn’t come with any weapons but does have hand that can hold many of the other base-form rider’s weapons. The mini rider sculpts are crazy detailed. The only complaint are the blank ride watches on the belt, but I’m getting 3rd party stickers to correct that. Overall, I really love this figure!
It looks like Blade's King Form. I was asking if that happened to be the form Zi-O acquired from Blade World.
Ah, sorry, wasn't sure exactly what you meant. Zi-O got the Grand Zi-O Ridewatch during the Den-O tribute arc, whenever he collected all 20 Heisei Rider watches. Zi-O Trinity debuted during the Blade arc. Also, in Zi-O, it's more like nearly every rider series happened in the same world but also kinda didn't, so it's not like Decade's dimension hopping. If he did get a form from Blade, it would've looked like this:
The image isn't coming up, but yeah, the total disrespect for the endings to the previouis series is part of the reason I only made it through 4 episodes of Zi-O. The other half was the main character knowing he was the main character and therefore was invincible.
Ack, look up "kamen rider zi-o blade armour" and you'll see it. Fair enough about the legend rider continuations, although I personally enjoyed them for the most part.
I'll end up getting back around to Zi-O since I'll eventually review it on my channel. Like I just recently reviewed Ghost and am currently about halfway through Ex-Aid, both of which I never watched past the premier when they originally aired.
