Anyone have a good recommendation where to buy
FT Hunk and FT DuneRider together from for the best price?

 

Looks like Terry's or Robotoybase have them in stock. It looks like around $300 shipped for the pair, maybe slightly less at Robotoybase, depending on the shipping for where you are.

Cheapest I have seen so far is about $280 on eBay… had a bad rotund lately of over paying for an Transformer and finding it a day or a week later for 10-20% cheaper. Hoping it does not happen again.

Only use RoboToyBase as a last resort because the prices they show don't include shipping. I just checked and Hunk is $21.25 and Dunerider is $20 in shipping cost.

Edit: Surprisingly, Dunerider would be 9 cents cheaper at RTB than Terry's. Hunk would be $1.17 more at RTB. So not as bad as I thought. Luckily they are smaller figures so the shipping isn't too crazy.

Just arrived today. I'm late to the party as I really like, and still do, Badcube's Brawn. This however has real shelf presence.

 

I love Brawny, too, but this really does look aces over that design. Brawny has a good altmode, tho, so it’s not a total loss.

 

I've also got the ko mp-47 coming in the post while I already have the Fanstoys version. In both cases the figure I'm replacing wouldn't even be considered needing to replaced unlike say the jump from mp-11 to the ds crimson wings.

 

So is this guy still for sale somewhere then? I missed him.

You bought it for that much,   and there I was complaining when FT jacked up the price to 75 pounds on near release date?

Got mine for ~150$ on Aliexpress   I hope it arrives at all and the delivery agent won't just lose the package because Aliexpress Standard Shipping just sucks

This thing is nowhere near worth the asking price now. Sure it’s FT. But this thing is not all that. If you paid $150, you need jesus.

alt mode is complete shit.

retail was a hard pill to swallow, but ok.

Dunerider is a much better toy overall, but also heavily overpriced for no reason.

 

What’s wrong with the alt mode?

 

I like the character, I can't help it   the "late tax" hurts tho

 

If you like the character, you win. The late tax definitely sucks but I don't think this will be a figure you'll need to wait 5 years for a reissue.

He looks great on the shelf, paint and sculpt are top notch. But the articulation is limited and the transformation is not fun. The alt mode is decent but it's not worth the task to get there.

But like yourself, I love the character and he's more cartoon accurate than Brawny so I'm glad I got him.
