Ohhhhhhhhhh fuck. Based on projected release dates, people already getting invoice requests and stuff I'd already agreed to pay for, this month is going to be a fucking nightmare for me.

So, PX Grimlock is due this month, the KO Flame Toys Tarn invoices have started going out from ShowZ, I've already had an invoice for the KO repaint of Open & Play Big Spring and word on da streetz is that FT Soundwave may also drop this month. So that's all stuff I already paid deposits for.

I had hoped to get the cheap TE MP Optimus Prime that's just come out this month and there's at least 2 new Annex 2179 figures due via BBTS.

But, I promised Mrs O I'd get The Ark, Tracks, Rhinox, Trailbreaker, the spare Cyclonus for IDW-ifying and whatever the fuck else I have on hold in FP this month too AND a load of comics from my pullbox, so they have to take priority. I also have to start paying @Fort Max for Star Saber and @Apollux for Galactus and then there's my regular unavoidable monthly expenses too.

Fuckadoodledoo.

I bet there's fuck all due for the next two months after this now. Tsk.

Personally, I think of the remake Ghostbusters as a seperate thing, it exists, just not in the original universe (see the comics who handled that well)

 

Then it is, my pleasure to introduce you to a classic Anime where the westernisation actually massively improves the overall thing (way better scoring, and a voice cast who really do), Benten is the third of our main protagonists, an androgynous bishōnen cyber criminal-turned-cop-as-crime-sentencing, and, frankly the coolest of the 3 IMHO, Gogol's classic hard boiled hardhead is a close second, and Sengoku is, well, a bit too generic a "maverick" (though it is highly amusing his Western VA turns out to apparently be Adam Klaus II from Jonathan Creek).
Though they're best viewed in sequence as Sengoku's first episode has a lot of the set-up for worldbuilding.

I didn't look at the Pulse sale due to having no spare cash after paying off the invoice for Ultimate Edition Undertaker & Kane and with one from Curibo for MAFEX Gambit imminent....might have to drop them an e-mail as my friend in Oxfordshire got his already but mine hasn't yet come through.

I was going to get the newest Iron Factory Seeker this week but other stuff has taken priority. It's still very likely to be my next robot purchase though.

 

Australia and Japan are really difficult to ship into and out to, lots of companies are reporting delays on product arrival to those localities, Covid restrictions and shipping issues are probably at fault as air traffic has reduced hugely to those countries and that only increases delays

 

Weren't Airazor and Tigatron shown to be together in the early episodes of Kingdom? I know everyone likes to ship the ladies, but seems that Tigatron/Airrazor part keeps getting forgotten. To me, the Spider/Falcon pairing was very one sided to a very flirty spider. Although if it was a full series, maybe we would have got a love triangle going between the three of them, with Airazor having to choose who she wanted to be with, BA or Tigatron.

Doesn't surprise me those folks are getting very uppity about Afterlife seeming to replace their woman power film. Just yet again showing social media is given way too much power and influence in this day and age.

As for the egon thing, I will only accept that if they bring him back as a silent ghost cameo to perhaps save his grandkids in the final battle or something along those lines. Which I was fully expecting to happen along the lines of anyway. But if they use cgi to bring him back as a living human.... no. Also, that would go against the story (of what we know about it from the trailers anyway. Not looking into the story as I want to not be spoiled).

I've not seen this in years, didn't realise it would or could be on YouTube in full!

I can't say I care if it is or isn't.
I really dislike the film and not for the reasons most do, so I just ignore it. But I'm not going to shout at people or tell them they are wrong for liking it lol

 

I lasted a whole 15 hours, but cracked in the end and ordered Iron Monger in the Pulse sale.

 

I think it (the UK version) could only be on Youtube due to a slew of rights issues until a recent Limited Collector's Bluray by All The Anime which is now sold out, and at ridiculous prices after market now. Bit gutted I missed it myself.

 

I just wish they'd make stuff like this easily available digitally for those of us who are perhaps more legally minded and want to "own" it.
I'd give my left arm (well maybe not, possibly my right) to own Transformers series legally digitally and many other cartoons / anime's from my childhood, but most are just not available and like you say out of print on physical media so even harder to get.

 

I think im gonna get a KO of the Revoltech Psylocke, the original comes with 4 really nice swords that are perfect for other 6" figures, along with a 2nd set of parts or customising and spares if my figure breaks it seems a deal for about £16

 

Be aware that it's an actual piece of crap. Mine snapped at the waist after about 5 mins. Then the arm snapped off at the elbow. Also face looks like a blow up doll.
Weapons are absolutely lovely though.
