Will Crankcase have the head damage that he has in IDW?

The only one I'd disagree with is Battletrap and the reason for that is that Warden claimed that the design team designed Battletrap and Skytread concurrently and intentionally included their cross compatibility so that he wouldn't need a do over. I know some people don't like that he has individual bot modes, but him and WFC Skytread were designed with each other in mind.

That mold is hot garbage in my opinion and looks especially poor next to more recent offerings

I can see your point. Obviously, the retro release headmasters and the rumored retro targetmasters and jumpstarters are probably not happening anytime soon. I'd guess the same for the Monsterbots. Since I'm sure that we are going to get all the 84-86 bots in WFC/Legacy, there's not much left to redo. Probably less than a dozen, highlighted by PMOP. However, I could see 6 or 7 being ignored by Hasbro.
However, I'm not pressed on replacing my PWT guys any time soon. I'd rather see some other eras get explored first and maybe take a slot per wave to get do redoes of the non-84-86 figures. It's telling that if you look at the PWT bots in comparison to WFC, they will have basically replaced everything in PWT except for combiners and assorted "Masters" in the space of 7-9 years. I would expect to see a new Getaway and Windblade, and maybe Broadside, Six Shot, and Armada Megs along with PMOP in the near future.

If people want Voyager Headmasters then the obvious solution is to hit up the 4th party market and buy the WeiJiang headmasters. They are all Voyager scale and look great. There was even a bit of remolding for improvements and you don't have any of the hip/knee issues like we did with the official Skullcruncher.

As for saying that we can't have a Voyager bot with a Deluxe bot vehicle size that's entirely inaccurate. Look at the 3rd party AOE Lockdown. Voodoo magic I know but they really pulled that off. Deluxe car to what was it? Leader scale bot?

This is one of my biggest wants. I have the ROTF figure and it fits in well enough in my collection, but I'd really love a new one without all those loose balljoints and that's compatible with modern accessories and fits in better aesthetically (even though the ROTF one fits in surprisingly well). I'd want his robot mode to be more based on the TFA design this time, without the windshield forming his chest, although I want his shoulders to use parts from the bumpers like his IDW and and Cyberverse designs (and 1/2 of his ROTF toy) do:

I want his car mode to be mostly based on this car from Mad Max, but with little spikes, a spoiler, and the front fenders of an AMC Javelin:

Leader would be overkill but he should definitely be Voyager. I don't think they could do him justice as a Deluxe. I think he'd be comparable to SS86 Hot Rod in mass and complexity of engineering, just taller and lankier in robot mode, with more of his mass going toward his height, and he should come with plenty of accessories (I'd like to see his engine/EMP gun, preferably a transforming one like the TFA figure had rather than a static part like the ROTF figure, a removable hook, a big cannon that he can carry or wear over his head as an AoE homage, and his green helmet/mask from AoE). We don't want him being super hollow either.
Agreed. His height is one of his main defining features. Being a car that turns into a robot that can stand eye-to-eye with Optimus and Megatron is part of what makes him so menacing and cool. I don't need him to be the exact same size as the leaders but I'd at least want him to be about the height of WFC Ironhide or Trailbreaker.
I don't think Sideswipe's proportions in robot mode would work well for Chromedome, but SS86 Hot Rod's definitely would. He'd still have the faux chest but it would be much better executed, and they could probably retool the cockpit for the Headmaster figure to sit inside it in vehicle mode. Of course, with Override sharing that mold now, I'm not sure I'd also want Chromedome to use it, but as long as they both got enough retooling to differentiate them from Hot Rod and give them unique silhouettes in robot mode I'd be cool with it.

Honestly, I think I'd be perfectly happy with a Cyberverse deluxe figure, love that design reinterpretation for him

Cyberverse figures are too stylistically different for me to use in my collection but I'd be alright with a CHUGified version based mainly on that design.

I've been obsessed with the Autobot junior Headmasters from Masterforce recently. They are top-of-the-list for characters I want in Legacy. Seems Minerva is confirmed. I am hoping Nightbeat, Siren/Goshooter and Hosehead are coming later. I am hopeful they scale closely with the G1 Autobot cars.

The ever rising prices suck for sure but any new PMOP needs that commander class budget, they just couldn't do it justice at leader class now or something fans consider 'iconic to the character' would get left out.

I'd say it's a pretty low chance, sadly.
That said, I'd say there's a moderate chance of a redeco with a damaged head. And failing that, I can almost guarantee that a third party damaged head will be made. Hopefully the head's not a pain to remove!

Also a Predaking with a sword. Please. I would take a Selects style repaint/tool if that's the easiest way to get it.

I can't really see where else there is to go after getting all the 'Masters done. On one hand, the Retro series seem like attempts to get the Takara Legends toolings into domestic retail but on the other hand every single non-'Master character has already received a new WFC-scale figure in the last few years. Characters like Windblade don't have any sort of G1 toyline connection to be made with the packaging and the POTP figures are probably too low-budget to effectively reissue + the combining gimmick would need to be unadvertised or outright removed which isn't really possible.

So I am thinking about 2023 and Beast Wars. 2022 is going to get us the last of the Season 1 cast save for Dragon megatron. Now its time for Season 2. Transmetals and Fuzors introduce two interesting wrinkles, as they are VERY different from each other and what we are getting right now. Fuzors especially. Transmetals... well, the Dinobots and the beastbots we got with Titans Return show those can happen easy enough. They also provide a large enough group to be spread over a year or two, much like the S1 BW Cast. Cheetor, Ratrap, Primal, Tarantulus, Rampage, and Megatron. Good balance of sizes (Ratrap could become a small deluxe or a core, Cheetor and Tarantulus as dexlues, Primal as a voyager with Rampage either being a large Voyager or small leader, and Megatron).

The fuzors is where things can get interesting.

There are only 2, Quickstrike and Silverbolt. A deluxe and a voyager. Now, we know that next year the Combiners are the subgroup of the mainline, much like the Weaponizers and Fossilizers before them.

All this leads to 3 scenarios, ordered from most to least likely.

Scenario 1- Quickstrike and Silverbolt are just released as the only two fuzors because they are main cast members. Nothing is done to explain this or treat them any different. They just are there and Hasbro banks on people liking them.

Scenario 2- Hasbro decides to do a subgroup of Fuzors, with Quickstrike and Silverbolt as the focal pieces but creating original characters (ala the Fossilizers) and new molds of fan beloved toy-line characters. So Skyhammer, for example.

Scenario 3- Hasbro decides to do a subgroup of Fuzors, with Quickstrike and Silverbolt as the focal pieces, but also have several Beast Wars characters who have got upgrades now get What-If style new figures (using the Golden Disc Collection story of the timeline getting kicked in the nuts). So a fuzor Rhinox, for example, or fuzor Waspinator.

Do I get my favorite Maximal? Then yes to any scenario that gets me Silverbolt up to actually injuring my family. :)
Honestly, Scenario 2 is my preferred option. Great idea and very practical.

I really want this simply because I missed out on Greatshot. I’d really love for Greatshot to make an appearance here in the US now that Victory Saber is coming. What if they did Greatshot first and then Sixshot?

Man, I still need to snag a Predaking at some point (I'm still kicking myself over not getting the KO)...along with LG Fort Max...and Scorponok...as well as T30 Metroplex. I'm so behind on stuff haha.

Scenario 1 does seem the most likely, given Silverbolt and Quickstick were the only fuzors that were in the show, thus becoming just as much memorable characters as anybody else. They just happen to have the extra characteristic of mixed beast forms.

That said, I wouldn't personally be apposed to either of the other scenarios.

    new BW Silverbolt... yes please!
new QS? depends... willing to see it, but other than the use of translucent and brown plastics as almost the only thing he was made of the original still works for me
