I feel like Lockdown should definitely be deluxe sized. The tallness of the Animated toy always bothered me, it just felt wrong. Somewhere in Hot Rod's height would be good. They could do a similar idea to the Leader thing and just do it like Hot Rod as a voyager instead. I'm all for including accessories though.

Now I think he should have Impactor styled ports on the back of his hands for a hook to go in, and ports on his forearms for the E.M.P

Decepticons. Carl the (Robo)Llama is too evil to be an Autobot.

Edit: If they modified that horse/llama mode into a big cat/feline mode, a Legacy version of that Dropshot triple-changer could make a really good CHUGy version of DotM Hatchet.

I'm trying to think of a polite way of saying that's the dumbest opinion I've heard from this fandom lately.

He also needs a hat. Made out of a material that floats.

I think you know where I'm going with this. :p

Also, here's an idea: that chopper/jet triple changer would make for a really nice M.A.S.K. Collab. as Switchblade.

I'd also like to keep the small car mode, but would need him to be at least as big as the ROTF figure for me to consider replacing ROTF Lockdown. The previously mentioned accessories are something I'd like to see as well, that's one of the few things that I liked about the MMC release. I could see them packing in a hook, Ratchet's EMP, a chain saw, a hand cannon, a head cannon, a bludgeon weapon, and a weapons case to carry them all in. I feel like that's enough to warrant a leader class slot, but he could also be a tall voyager. That would mean few accessories though, which would be a shame.

I guess the real question to that idea is if Hasbro would see Lockdown as worth investing in as a Leader set.

They saw doubledealer of all characters to be worth the leader price point so I don’t see why not especially since lockdown was the main villain of a live action film

I suppose so. Not having that figure, I keep forgetting Double dealer was a Leader.

If/when we get Lockdown, I want him to actually be based on the TFA version's transformation.

We're not getting voyager class headmasters, if we were they wouldn't have just re-released the titans return ones. Hasbro sees those molds as still viable especially since they're still using the titanmasters for new headmasters and they're using the mind wipe mold for draculus

Sometimes I do forget how big Flywheels was, I'm totally happy with the deluxe figure though.

I mean yeah obviously, but it's interesting to think about at least, and there's still those people holding out hope that SS86 constructicons are gonna be leaked any day now even though CW Devastator got reissued lol

as well as those who believe anything prior to Siege doesn't matter and they all need to be redone but that's a whole other group of dumb

Looking at the way we're getting Menasor slowly across waves without the whole line being full of combiners makes me think that if they want to re-do any headmasters, they can really just pop out one of them whenever they want. Kinda like how we got the Horrorcons, or how Fangry just popped out of nowhere, and we seem(?) to be getting some Jr's in Legacy.

But it's not happening in 2022 at least. Unless we get another one-off exclusive like Fangry again. Even then, it likely won't be an all-new mold.

I think there are a lot of the preWFC that should be redone (at some point). I think most of the headmasters from Titans Return are good and don’t need to be redone. I’d personally like to see Elita’s crew redone (I know some of them were during gen selects but I’m counting them anyways) all with different body types and vehicle modes personally.

Most of all we need more accurate molds for Weirdwolf, Skullcruncher, Mindwipe, Brainstorm, Crosshairs, and Battletrap.
With Hasbro milking the TR molds atm I can see them going back to Headmasters characters in a year or two.
Which is perfect, since by then most of the season three, two and one characters will have been revisited and it's time for season four characters to get a much needed redo.

Even though some insults to humanity who think people should feel insulted when an ass calls them dumb still believe Hasbro is planning on treating them to a new golden age of Armada and Prime toys.

Agreed, most of the stuff from the Prime wars trilogy is fine and if they're still using those molds for the Wal-Mart it's probably a sign that they aren't planning on redoing those guys any time soon.

It seems that part of the idea behind Legacy is they are finally starting to uncuff themselves from G1 and are starting to branch out into other areas of the franchise. Kingdom was a good start by updating the Beast Wars characters and hopefully, that showed the higher-ups at Hasbro that the other eras of Transformers have fans too. We can't just keep redoing the same characters over and over again every few years at this point it is just the fans that are starting to get burned out on this stuff I think the designers are too. I know that there are still G1 characters that need new figures, like Blaster, but I'm hoping that Legacy gives them a chance to let G1 fade into the background a little bit and just give everyone a fresh start with a little more variety.

Or maybe I'm just at the point where I would rather get a new figure of a character I've never been able to get a figure of before instead of getting the umpteenth Optimus Prime. Like I know that a lot of people want new versions of the G1 mini bots but the Prime wars legends class figures are great and I just can't get excited for another Brawn when I already have one I'm perfectly happy with.
