My son and I saw a Kingdom Tracks at Target last night and decided it was worth purchasing, but I’m not wasting space in my cloud with a photo of it. This figure has rocketed to the top of my “worst WFC toys” list.

Any QC issues in Tracks are irrelevant when the design is this bad. This is an example of unnecessarily complex engineering supplanting simpler, superior options. I may save the head and gun for a custom, but the rest is going to recycling.

That’s my biggest disappointment with the figure. All of the QC issues were easily fixable with better design. The lose lower leg panels? How about a slightly large stab so they stay secure. The loose hips? A two piece hip assembly would made it more secure.

Victory Saber......any idea when he’ll be shipped? Other than next year?

Winter/4th quarter, maybe January 2023 at the latest. Haslab projects usually take a year and a quarter after the conclusion of the campaign before they ship. The Razor Crest is in the same boat, having ended in November of last year, but isn’t due out until January of next. Either way, some may receive there’s earlier, and some later, as was the case with Unicron.

That’s right, aren’t some people waiting for the Sentinel?

Likely. I think the Unicron rollout took about a month to a month and a half once all was said and done.

I hate to bitch about things like a backseat driver, but this one puzzles me. I completely understand complex transformations and involved engineering when the goal is great articulation, a particular proportion, or a more streamlined look. But these legs are clunky, and stubby, and loose. They're the worst part of the figure, and they didn't have to be. Aside from articulation, the G1 toy's legs were far more elegant, and all they did is extend, separate, and flip down the feet. They're better proportioned, more stable, and cleaner. It's like the design challenge was not a pleasing or clever transformation, but one that was as convoluted, unintuitive, and visually disappointing as possible.

I wonder if the designers tried too hard to imitate MP-25? The legs are likewise the worst part of that figure, and are similarly unusual.

Actually, the one I have doesn't have any loose joints at all. (Of course, I haven't tried transforming him) I'm not a fan of the stamp on his leg though.

Hey, I completely understand that some people are satisfied with the figure, but that doesn’t make it a good design. Transforming it might change your opinion, though. It’s not so much challenging as it is bad.

Thank you for this. I have no interest in Tracks but one in a while think Road Rage might be a good pick-up. Then I’m reminded of how bad just the design is by posts like this, and my money slips back into my wallet.

By all means, watch videos and consider other opinions. You may have a completely different impression, and it’s only $20. The mold simply fails to meet my most basic expectations, and I probably should have trusted my gut and not bought it. But lots of folks on here seem to love it, and Road Rage even more so.

my Road Rage arrived Saturday. Haven’t transformed her yet since Tracks is a pain. Also got used lot with RotF Bludgeon, Generations Skullgrin and Straxxus on eBay. Not the biggest Pretenders fan but the first look pretty cool with my wfc figures. Straxus looks good but I wouldn’t mind an upgrade
