it was supposed to be released for New York Comic Con, with leaks showing the figure as part of the lineup for the event, but then it got pushed back for unknown reasons, with no official reveal but with copies leaking to eBay and multiple other websites. It appears that the figure was in production during NYCC and some actually managed to get sold, even if there was no official announcement from Funko
