Just out of curiosity, could you release how you went about getting an offine mode? I've been pouring through documentation, dlls and logs and figured if you already had it worked out you could get me that far then I know what to look for for working on LAN servers.

 

I’m also trying to gather the caches in hopes I can get all the terrorcons and switchblade if you could dm me a link or post the cache here I would appreciate it

Every now and then I check in on this thread for any updates. Honestly I just think it's cool to see people still remember this game. Downloading some character models and imported them into Blender a while back

 

It's possible that this project is dead due to the lack of data to go off of or the developers behind it have placed it on a shelves for the time being. This project was one of the many that inspired me to bring back the TF games by HMS.

 

Are the character models in the game files? i must have missed them haha

Hello everybody! Long time listener, first time caller.

One of the positives of the new Legacy Prime figures is that they made me remember how much I love both Transformers: Prime and this game. I never signed up for this game back in the day because my internet was horrendously slow and laggy back then, but I remember getting excited whenever a new character was revealed (officially or otherwise).

I'm hoping that someday I will be able to play this, but until then, I have a couple of questions:
- The OP mentions unused maps in the game files. Do we have any pictures of these? What types of maps are they? (I didn't realize this until last year, but Catapult's and Duststorm's videos show a desert map that I don't think was one of the playable maps.)
- Does anyone have the images that showed where in North America each of these game maps were supposed to be located? It appears that you used to be able to access a map of North America in your respective hanger that allowed you to select where you wanted to play a match, but there were also smaller maps of NA that only showed the location of one game map.

Also, I've seen a lot of concept art for the characters in this game on the internet, but none that look like the mystery Decepticon pickup at the bottom of the first page of this thread. Guess that one is going to remain a mystery.

 

If any progress is made on this project please let me know, I only got to play this game briefly but it was fun as hell.

 

This is really cool to see - I always did find it quite odd that Hasbro pulled the plug on this so early on in its life-cycle, a Transformers MMO struck me as something that would work quite well and it seemed to do just that, and just in general MMO preservation is a joyous thing to see happening given the amount of MMOs that regularly get cancelled. Please let us know as much as you can as this develops!

 

First time poster, i've been scouring the internet and gathering images of concept art and actual character art for TFU for no real reason, and i think what's going on here is pretty neat. Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but if anyone has any ideas where i might come across some obscure concept art of the game or something like that, linking it here would be nice.

 

Hi, ive been following this thread since i first found out about this game, i wanted to know 3 things?

1: if anyone has any files of the Autobot And Decepticon Voice lines, along with a mesh and Textures of the Big Decepticon Ship in the sky, im looking for alot of files so i can extract models, OST's, Voicelines, and Sound effect from them.

2: i wanted to know if there would be a Stable or at least a Decent Release for the Decepticon Version of the game, because from the looks of the images and what progress Kiriller12 has done, it almost Seems close to done (on the Decepticon Side i mean)

3: how do the Colored Textures for the Characters work? Because i am planning on making a Garrys mod Pack for TFU Characters and i wanted to add there all skins to the pack.

Anyways I wish this project luck as i never knew it existed or even got to chance to Play it, I Really want to Play this game, in some way even if its just one faction with 2 or 3 things missing.

 

Oh man, please this post active. And I hope the guy who did manage to get the offline working, to at least post how he did it, or whatever files are necessary to make it work. So that we can spread the word in other modding sites.
And hopefully, does anybody have access to the TFU KnockOut files? Or model

 

If they were able to get some of it working to make the sample video, is there any link in this thread to download that? the game bit i mean, not just the vide showing it works
