No, just partial refund, not full.

Just sent another 3 packages with a total weight of 1.17 kg.

    By air: 48 yuan.

By sea: 66 yuan (5.84 kg volumetric weight)! Plus 20 yuan additional fee and 39 yuan GST, for a total of 125 yuan!

Volumetric weight and GST are why shipping by sea isn't always cheaper (or much cheaper) than by air to Singapore.

    Well, GST coming in 2023...

So does that mean the transfer fee alone is always flat 20 yuan? Hard to tell now.

I think Sea only makes sense if you know that the actual weight will be more than the volumetric weight, and you get charged actual weight.

E.g. say you buy 2 kg actual weight worth of cheap screws. Since their volumetric will be small, probably get charged actual.

For Sea shipping, 2 kg = 22 yuan + GST (probably not much since screws are cheap)
For Air shipping, 2 kg = 64 yuan

A Mainland China retail version (3C) is not confirmed yet, so until then, the ones you'll see on Taobao would be parallel imported from HK and unlikely to be cheaper than retail prices in JP, HK, etc.

Not right now, aside from adblocker interference. I'm Singtel if that matters.

Hey guys, I need to ship out my recent order from the Superbuy warehouse to the USA. It consists of 2 Gigapower dinos. One of which is now past the free storage period. I typically use SAL shipping but it does not give me that option. I typically don't pay more than $100 for shipping. The cheapest shipping option I see now is YunExpress clothing for $95, a shipping cost which is about what usually pay for a a shipment for this size or even larger. However the delivery notice says this is for clothing only. If that's the case, why did Superbuy give me this option? Can I still use it with no problems? If I don't use it, the next highest cost shipping method is EMS Packet preferential line for $136.

Did you try to calculate shipping of them individually? It was cheaper for me to send two shipments containing two boxes each via EUB than sending them in one shipment via EMS.

I wouldn't use the one that says for clothing only. I had a similar issue when I was buying the Gigapower Dinos. When you put them together the box size go over the size limit of a lot of shipping options. I also would not ship anything SAL right now. Its by sea. I'm sure you've seen the reports of containers stuck at port. You wont see it for like 3 months. I'm 4 days away from 3 months on my last shipment. Like 2-3 months is the expected ship time right now. Regardless of what it says on Superbuy.

If you really want to ship it SAL you could try having them prepack your parcel. The calculations done by superbuy are automictic and it just assumes certain sizes. It you were to pay for the rehearsal your boxes actual weight and dimension will more likely allow you to use SAL. Superbuy's calculation also assumes you will be shipping them in the original shipping boxes that they came in. So its probably a lot smaller than they are predicting. I know I've had parcels that could fit two gigapower boxes in them.

This option used to be called demo or rehearsal packaging. But now its under the shipping expert tool. I am not a hundred percent sure how it works. I haven't had to do it for a long time. I would talk to customer service and explain what you want to do. Just to make sure You want your items pre packaged without the original shipping boxes and you want to use the exact weight and measurements to determine shipping. It looks like that's what the shipping expert is for, but I'd check to make sure. Its a 20 yuan service, but it sounds like it might get you where you want to be. It suppose to determine the optimal shipping choices based on your desires.

Hi all, came into an issue where my DS01 Starscream was damaged on arrival at the consignment warehouse. I have already requested refund from seller and have already agreed.

However, I cannot return the parcel weirdly enough. The option that was recommended didn't allow me and told me that the warehouse address is not applicable for the courier to send back parcel to the seller.

I talked to the logistics customer service but they don't go into detail on it even when I asked specifically. Everything they say seems vague.

I am at wits end. Can anyone help with this? This is my first time dealing with this issue. Thanks

@ChromeMagnus I think they may have actually removed the cheap SAL as an option. Which makes sense with the logistics problems with Sea right now. It was not an option for me either. And my stuff was no where near hitting a size or weight limit.

Official forwarding to SG has a new Air Express option (w/ consolidation) that starts at 49rmb for first 1kg and 18rmb/0.5kg subsequently

Anyone want to test? I probably won't since I only self-pickup these days.

Wait, am I reading this right? Shipping rate per KG has gone up by 4-5 RMB?

Normal Air Consolidation per 0.5 KG was 15 RMB, now 20 RMB.

Normal Sea Consolidation per KG was 7.40 RMB, now 11 RMB.
