It can roughly translate to "Moon Shadow" which can work with his stealth theme.

    Yukikaze to "Snowy Breeze"

Seizen "Blue Mountain" or "Western Mountain"

Suiken to literally "Water Fist" and refers the "Drunken Fist" style in Kung Fu.

    Kaen, roughly "Blaze"

    Shouki is mythological character

Raiden to "Thunder and Lightning" and another mythology character.

Not sure how I'll refer to them.

I will say the arguments between the Raiden's are much tamer than the arguments between MP-52 and DS-001.

Season 1 toon accuracy's one hell of a drug.

No, it's on TFSource for that amount.

And I'm pretty sure the actual production figure you're paying that amount for won't have a crooked crest like that prototype.

Kaen is very similar to a name in Hebrew so he was easy for me to remember, Seizan was the first one I actually knew, I just thought his name sounded cool.

The names are pretty hard for me to remember too! Haha. I am expecting to learn them slowly over the preorder periods. Shouki is already in the ol memory bank. The meanings behind the Kanji is going to need to be memorized next.
匠気, or しょうき. means artisan, workman, or carpenter and means spirit, mind, air, atmosphere, or mood. According to the tfwiki Shouki is a powerful dignified name that shows reverence to japanese military history. So… like ‘Conscious Artisan’. It’s a cool name :)

That's what we said about the $50 Kingdom Galvatron's shoulders, and yet there he is, doing a Michael Jackson shoulder dance in his packaging on my shelf.

I don’t believe that’s an accurate comparison. Galvatron’s shoulders can be assembled in either position and could be easily mixed up during assembly without an immediately obvious qc issue. The head crest will most likely only go in one way and if it’s crooked, it’ll be pretty obvious during assembly.

People take their toys way too seriously.

I really like the look of the combined mode Radiatron, but I have no attachment to the characters and don’t like paying that much money when so many figures in the set are remolds of each other. I’ll have to wait and see what it’s all like once they’re all out.

So, to maybe steer this back on track. I’m here as a fan of Raiden. I’ve been keeping tabs on this release since it first popped up.
I’ve liked what I’ve seen for the most part but I have come to the decision that, based on the looks and proportions of the alt modes along with the overall sizes of the individual components and Raiden himself, they are too big for my preferences and collection/space available.
I’ll happily continue to keep tabs on the project though. I’m always interested in good transformations and I like to see how projects come out in the end. So it’ll be interesting to see how this set works out once fully released.

So what would be the most sensible way of getting a hold of these guys in the EU? Show.Z Store?

Well there's one glaring difference. Let's see how the MP is handled at its price point before completely writing it off because of one prototype. If it's a widespread issue then we grab our pitchforks.

If Moon Studio really is Zeta… I’ll just wait until they do a. Box set with better colors and a new chest piece. I waited on Superion and Bruticus and got much nicer versions that way

    Thanks for the tip!

About to ask a similar question. Since Moon Studio is technically new, what is Zeta's track record like? Any problems with preordering and getting the first run or is waiting always best with them? What about price differences between the first run and the newer versions?

If it’s a choice between ShowZ and Robotkingdom, I’d go with ShowZ. Great service, reasonable, or even free, shipping in most cases and reliable. I’ve only used RK once or twice and while the service was fine, their shipping rates made any further purchases not worthwhile, for me.
