If $180 is really going to inconvenience you, then absolutely this isn't something you should be buying. But if you're still waffling after the fact, be very wary that any opportunity to get this set after will cost you ~double.

 

That's been the active case with every funded project so far. We can see it in real time right now with Sentinels shipping. Though it looks like there have been some hiccups getting more of them shipped and apparently shipping on the Razor Crest is also delayed. No word yet on if HeroQuest will be shipping in November still. Though I think Unicron's time frame was closer to a year and a half? Didn't pay attention to Jabba's Barge.

 

By that time, I can have saved up from getting a job or a big writing comm. Screw it, I'm rolling the dice.

 

Not just HasLab. One year's time is just straight-up the average turnaround from prototype to manufactured product. Whenever we see grey model protos, there's probably a year before it hits shelves. HasTak, Bandai, 3P, it's all about the same.

 

Unless paying $180 is going to seriously inconvenience you I woupd recommend you get it now if you want Victory Saber. Look at the going prices of past HasLab projects on the aftermarket. They generally go for double or more. It will never be cheaper than it is right now.

 

I just thought of this. I hope this is true. If I was to move in idk June, would I still be able to change my address? God, I wish I thought of this earlier and called in… silly me.

Yes, you can change your address. When Unicron was preparing for shipment, they sent out e-mails asking everybody to confirm their shipping address. I assume they've done the same for every other HasLab project.

I know it's a tough pill to swallow, I'm swallowing it too, but I waffled on buying Takara's God Poseidon set on Pulse, and once it sold out, I had to buy it at another etailer. I really wanted that set, but had to pay more, not like double or anything that high, but high enough to regret canceling my preorder on Pulse. I'm not making that same mistake twice.

 

Decided to make a mockup box. I am well aware of my photoshop skills sucking.

 

It might be a stretch, but I'd be much happier with anything remotely close to the original box.

Ok folks this is the final day. I don’t want to pressure anyone but today is your last shot to make up your mind about Star Saber. After today you won’t get another chance at backing him, unless Hasbro grants an extension or you like to pay double the price for him in the aftermarket. I gotta say it’s been an interesting couple of months keeping track of this project! I can’t wait to get star saber myself.
