Even for diecast? All the red parts are diecast, which is the main "offending" color. Just doesn't go with the camo theme.

Haven't tried painting on diecast before.

Yeah, he's quite heavy. I would've enjoyed him more if he was a stand-alone fig, but diecast is a no-no when it comes to combiners.

Maybe I should've gotten the plastic version, if they are still selling it. But I want an Onslaught more than a Hotspot though.

Then you'd want to strip any existing paint first with 91% alcohol or acetone (safe here because it's metal) and forget the Duplicolor. You could then just go with a Krylon Fusion or Rustoleum Painters Touch 2x color coat and finish with an equivalent clear coat.

    Hi all,

I've ordered plenty of times from AliExpress over the years and was fortunate to never have an issue. Well, I seem to now have an issue with a recent order and I wanted some thoughts on how to handle the situation. On August 9th I placed an order for four AOYI Studio Series 38 KO and color variants from Children's Fun Store. On August 26th the items reached the "Region Sorting Center" and they've been stuck there ever since. Items I ordered previously and after this order from other stores have all arrived so I have to assume this package is lost, especially since the max amount of delivery time was supposed to be 32 days.

What is the correct way to go about filing a claim and what about the timing of doing so? AliExpress is stating in my order history that my order will be closed in 20 days XX hours XX minutes. If I go through the Eva message bot thing it states there is still time for my package to be delivered and I should wait a little longer. Previously the bot thing stated there was a national Holiday in China and I should wait until afterwards to file a claim. I just don't want to have my window of opportunity close on me. Any thoughts or advice would be welcomed. Thanks!

Their most recent holiday was their National Day Golden Week 1st to 7th Oct so it should be good to file a claim now.

    Hey All,

Do we think BPF will do an OSKO of Kingdom Ultra Magnus?

I was hopeful this would be an easy one for them to turn around quickly.

I guess keeping a low profile since the last round of raids that were carried out.

@gar3 - what communication have you had with the seller?

I haven't contacted either the seller or AliExpress yet. I honestly didn't know which route I should go or the exact date I should start to raise a fuss.

Contact seller first. If he/she won't respond or his/her reply will raise suspicion that he/she is not honest, open dispute (there should be appropriate button in the "order details"), fill out the form (choose option corresponding to item not received and that you want full refund) and wait (as far as I remember it's up to 14 days). Hopefully AliE will accept your claim - I don't know what you can do, if they refuse... Maybe you could contact your bank and prove them that you didn't receive item you paid for and they'll revoke transaction (it worked for me in case these frauds from Armoured Heaven AU).

It's worth remembering Aliexpress are holding those funds in escrow until either the buyer protection elapses (10 or 15 days after the 75 day countdown I think?) or you confirm successful delivery.

I had to get a refund recently from Lensple and they contacted me begging for more time and saying they'd contact the logistics company but I think they just stall for time. I'm not sure Ali will grant a refund unless the 75 day delivery guarantee has elapsed. Can you raise a dispute more than once if the initial one is declined?

I recently had to dispute a claim for a ko Studio Series Prime that was lost in the mail. Contacted Panda Department store (seller) and they twice said they would refund me but never did. Had Aliexpress take care of it for me. Fairly easy to do

There was the 9.9 sale and then holidays in oct. was also typhoon port closures, n covid during these times. add on the fact global logistics are f'ed atm.. yeah....

It could just be sitting there. Depends on the carrier they used atm. Some people who purchased shipping with sal out of china have waited 2+ months with their items stuck at a chinese airport warehouse. Everything Ive ordered from china has had long wait times compared to the past. 3 boxes using ems via an agent sat at the carrier warehouse for 3 weeks before moving. another box via taobao direct warehouse sat for like two weeks before shipping updated as departed. that one is coming by boat so its somewhere still. A package from aliexpress has been the longest wait. Ordered two small items late aug, says it departed china sep 6, still MIA. its probably still in china.

Youre a little further along in your ali wait. but I plan to give it 2 more weeks. contact seller. then go through refund if not recieved a week after that.

My worry with the MIA shipment is that I'm down to 19 days before my order is closed according to AliExpress. Should I:

-Wait until that timer is finished and then make a claim about not receiving the items?
    or
-Should I contact the seller right now?

I honestly do not understand the timing involved. Am I screwed once that order timer ends or not? Do I have to make a claim before it runs out? What if I contact the seller, they tell me to wait while they investigate, and then the clock runs out? Do I file a claim with AliExpress at the last possible minute or not?

Yes, from that date you have 14 days to open a dispute about the order, and since you can link the tracking in the complaint, Aliexpress will definitely decide in your favor.
