Like many, I think it will be hard, maybe impossible, to have a better looking and more accurate G1 Starscream (but then again, we thought the same with MP-03, MP-11 and MP-52  )

 

Mine finally arrived after a vacation in Jamaica then chilling at some shippers warehouse for weeks with no update so was a surprise.

As has been said the box is premium stuff, shame about the terrible box art but cest la vie. Everything looks intact and immaculate on it from a cursory glance, paint on the guns felt a little... not quite sticky but not "dry" either (only part of it I have really touched).

Pretty pleased, dont know if I will ever transform it, just doesnt look fun

It didnt! When you look down the front of the crown should be facing you, any other way it's on the head wrong. 

 

Color doesn't match. I really need to get an airbrush.

The wing hinge covers look nice angled at both ends. Once the color is dialed in they will look great. I like the intake covers too. I was wondering if it would be practical to make them thinner and incorporate a 90 degree side that would block the hole from being visible when the intakes are rocked forward. I'm surprised DS didn't keep the vertical partition wrapping around a little further while continuing to taper and this would achieve exactly what I'm thinking aside from covering the screw hole.

Here is my screw hole cover attempt. The paint doesn't match at all but they do the trick. They sit flush and I milled a slot for clearance on the underside so there isn't any interference when sliding the intakes. They fit slightly snug but after a few clicks they start to work free from not having anything restraining them but once I match the paint I can tack them in place.

 

Maybe you can make brand new intakes … especially since mine came without them  

 

Is there a 'best' video to watch for transformation? I'm going to subject myself to it tonight.

I still haven't gotten mine. Mine was missing the little annoying floaty tab that fills in the gap on his wing in alt mode. Terry TF club has not been responsive. I got an initial mail back about it but nothing since.

Same here. I have two copies of DS-01 and both copies have it. One is worse than the other.

Does anyone know if this Megatron Gun that comes with the KBB MP10V (A downsized MP 10 KO) a good size for this guy? I can't really tell, I think the stock is a tad short but it's no biggie for me. Or I can just use the good old Mass Shifting excuse lol

I'm about to get rid of it soon but I figured why not keep at least the gun for this guy.
