Hmm...that was a while back but IIRC It was a mix of Tamiya red with a bit of yellow and believe it or not...neon purple. So that might be the 'missing ingredient' to your match (which looks quite good, BTW)

Thanks Hal for answering solskjaer, and thanks for the interest! Yeah Shapeways is probably the best way to get the chest plate for now....I've tried printing on my personal printer but the Shapeways version is smoother and sturdier!

My afterburner has the damage to the windscreen hinge since i got it second hand
I tried fixing it with plastic cement a few months ago and just not touch it ever again

well i forgot that and messed with him the other day turns out the fix didnt work. Before i go and attempt to repair the hinge any replacements or something of the sort around

I second this. The head breathes new life into this figure. Amongst my CHUGsterpiece combiners I've always liked Warbotron Computron the most, and now he looks even better. Thanks @echotransformer !

Nope, this is my only one Computron, with Maketoys' Quantron. Sadly!

 

I always wondered how this set compares to TFC Toys Defensor, and MMC Feral Rex and other MMC reformatted when not combined. I really just wanted Strafe and the other who was listed as a member of the Lost Light and the Maketoys one is too small. And as far as I know that was it for 3rd party ones. May have to go back and get the RTS Generations voyager Strafe.

How do you make the base stick as body plate?

 

There's one peg that can be used. That alone isn't strong enough though. The guns on his nipples need to hold the upper part.

 

Sorry to revive a dead thread, but I’m looking to pick up this set since it’s basically the only 3p Computron in a decent scale so if anybody’s looking to sell theirs please LMK

 

My apologies for ressurectificating a dead thread, but I finally managed to hunt down one of these guys, and while I see some cool looking chest options on Shapeways (currently using the improvised shield chest seen above, thanks for that), I can't seem to find any ways to fix the tiny head on combined mode. Is there anywhere you can still get a decent replacement for it still?
