Don't do anything rash but you need to be able to enjoy your collection. The moment that enjoyment goes then selling can be very liberating.

I too have sold up fairly sizable collections periodically over the years. I have always kept my original G1 (only a few figures) plus a couple of favourites from the UT series.

I'm always glad I have sold though afterwards, whether it's just from creating space, association with something negative or lack of enjoyment.

I went through a pruning stage again recently keeping the new SS86 plus Kingdom main 86 movie cast figures from recent purchases.

If you do sell up Genetic is always a good option, he bought my collection off me in 2015 when I sold up the last time I had a large collection.

New lego The Batman figures are now listed for 01 January. I can see me getting the batcave and minifig scaled batmobile. Good pricing on these too. £60 for the batcave and £25 on the batmobile.

    Batcave™: The Riddler™ Face-off 76183 | DC | Buy online at the Official LEGO® Shop GB

Thanks for getting back to me. I had the same conversation years ago actually with a guy in Forbidden Planet, by the time some of the white carded Star Wars figures were in B&M was starting to get the gathered up clearance stuff from America.

Another example was the DC characters in the white boxes. "These are in B&M for £8!" and he wants to say 'Only the crap ones...'.

The other thing he mentioned was they could never get restocks of Marvel Legends when they needed them, even when holding their nose on the Z listers nobody wanted.

Cheers folks. Tis the spooky season and I can't help myself.

As much as I love enjoy watching chaos unwind, I just feel empathy for mp collectors when the inevitable qc problems crop up. I'd be gutted if I dropped 150 notes on a fancy carbot that crumbled first time I looked at it. Then I feel for all the smaller retailers that have to deal with the onslaught of customer complaints about said qc issues.

But I'll feel silent vindication about choosing not to buy :p

Ahhh. Cheers for the guidance buddy.the wait for generations choo-choo men shall continue

No worries mate. I've been on a hunt in my old pics and best I can find is a comparison with FT Phoenix, who is the exact right scale with MP Optimus and with Zeta Bruticus and Superion etc. (so you can see the issue if TT downscale him, or otherwise keep his height and retain 18 inch combiners).

I've seen the rumblings, has it all been officially announced yet?

I really hope the radio stations are left in tact, and that the music selection doesn't come up against licencing issues. There's also lot of humour that wouldn't fly these days, I just hope they go the Disney plus route of acknowledging it rather than omitting it.

    I hope you're right :D

I've been looking on eBay for ages but prices have been ridiculous, then out of nowhere the Indies have had small restocks in the last week !

Cheers, will probably place an order on payday this Friday. Anyone who has bought from Collectable Kingdoms, do they get there stock similar times to the other guys like Kapow or ID Toys?

Been stung before placing a pre-order with a new (for me) business only to end up waiting weeks/month after everywhere else already got the figure, not always the business's fault but would rather not get into that situation again.

I passed up the opportunity to preorder that bad boy as I wasn’t feeling it.

Unfortunately, as the release date got closer and closer I’ve been playing Super Metroid, Samus Returns 3D and have Fusion/Zero Mission waiting in the wings….

Parts of that wave have crept up on their own for months but not the rest. Classic Hasbro distribution.

    Yup, been there!

If Hasbro Pulse listed the MP Trains then I'd be OK ordering them on there as at least if I got a Faulty one I'd have UK buyer protection - i might consider Amazon.co.jp - but I simply can't be buying a train right now - not with all that stuff due in November to deal with - if they put it on pulse though I can essentially forget about it until it actually is due to ship then.

Sad though isn't it that we expect Takara Masterpieces to arrive faulty now - rather than it being the exception.
