Congrats! So envious of all of you with this. It’s definitely my next planned purchase.

I'm glad someone is doing a high-end figure of this design. Last I heard CMs corp wanted to make one before they went bankrupt.

Finally, a Goldymarg with ankle tilts.

Braiger is looking great. Down for two and at least one Baldios. Not sure about goldy and the Option set. It would be dependent on price.

Well I went a bit crazy and just ordered GaoGaiGar from ShowZ. That might be the highest I've ever paid for a single toy. Feeling like an insane person.

Definitely not the first time I’ve felt insane lol, but definitely the first time I’ve spent so much on one thing.
Kinda funny how over time you get more and more comfortable buying more expensive figures. I couldn’t have imaged buying $100 figures when I started collecting in the mid 2000s, but my limits have been creeping up higher and higher and now I just spent almost $600.

don’t be surprised if I’m 6 months I’ve dropped a grand to get my hands on the SoC DX Volt in Box lol

I remember the time when I got back into TFs, the Binaltechs were the most expensive (but worth every penny) in my collection, then it was the MPs. The last most expensive purchase i made purchase was the PG Phenex Gundam, and now it seems GGG is going to dethrone that soon(once the local store i ordered from get their stocks....urgh).

For sure. I remember heavily wavering and over MP-01 and various binaltechs, often passed. Hell I was even super choosy about the deluxes that I bought, and they were only ten bucks each! There’s no way me at that time would’ve bought a whole wave of deluxes and voyagers in one go like I’ve done so often in the last couple years, but then again, I was still a student back then and what money I made from part times was very limited haha.

My Pose+ Gaogaigar arrived from ShowZ. I posed Gaigar a bit before going straight into the combination to form Gaogaigar. While I'm not sure yet if it overtakes Baikanfu as my favorite Pose+ piece that I own (also have Baikanfu and Goshogun), it's definitely impressive and looks great. I'm normally not into stylized stuff (for Transformers I'm in the toon-accurate camp all the way), but even in pictures, while it's obviously stylized, it really gave me a true Gaogaigar vibe, which is why I decided to get it. In person, I believe that holds true. I'm not sure why, but looking at it, it reminds me more of the animation than the SOC, which is no question a lot more animation-accurate. Maybe because Pose+ captured the spirit of the robot so well.

Anyway, I'm not sure if I can recommend it outright given the extremely high price, but I think if you're into Gaigaigar and the price isn't a deterrent, I think you'll be happy with it.

I keep looking at it, GGG, and am hearing my wallet cry. I love the soc but this one fits well with my taste in detailing.
