Has there been a major slow down with the Chinese customs lately? My KO mp47 took over 3 weeks to clear Beijing (overall shipping time was 1.5 month), and my DS-01 from TF direct is still showing in Beijing for the past 2 weeks. Meanwhile, others has been getting their DS01 from various sellers within a week or 2. What's going on?

I hear ya. My order from tf-direct has been sitting for 3 weeks without movement.

 

There are reports of widespread power outages or rolling outages in some areas, not sure if this is affecting any of their ports. There's also the freight carrier backlog at US ports, both ships and trucks.

 

My order from Baba just arrived yesterday after just 8 days in transit. But this time around he had used Yanwen instead of China Post. I am guessing the delay might not be with Chinese customs, rather certain carriers are backed up while others are not.

got a couple things last week from bababobo and showz. took about two weeks to the US.

 

I haven't had too many shipping issues with Orangeconnect recently until they decided to choose Pitney Bowes as a USPS shipping partner. Waiting for a month now for a package.

 

Mascot_home and 6hk666666 both also took about two weeks from an eBay sale. I made them an offer on fans toys items and they accepted. Made them best price on eBay and from reputable sellers.

 

I was just looking at Mascot Zone the other day and saw he had nothing up for sale, are the Mascot home/zone people leaving ebay? They didn't go rogue or anything, the feedback is all good, they just don't have anything up. Also Netclow only has 29 things for sale now, maybe the payment updates drove off a bunch of Chinese sellers?

 

Not sure about zone but mascot_home has over 500 items for sale on eBay as of about 30 seconds ago.

 

I hadn't thought about the private investor angle honestly & I work for a utility company that has investors doing the same.

When you cut the workers down to a razors edge when times are good for mone...I mean efficiency reasons then there is no way to get trained folk on the ground asap when something bad occurs

 

So after my DS-01 spent a month sitting at Beijing customs for over a month, it's now being sent back to the TFDirect! WTF?! Why is this happening? TFD claims that they had many packages returned to them due to the pandemic... Then how come other Chinese sellers like ShowZ and Baba that can get their stuff into the US without problem?

 

I have one order from Baba and one from TFdirect. Both are EMS shipped and it's in transit hell right. I have no idea where they are at lol?

 

my order from tf direct is now being held by customs. I wonder how long it will be held by customs.

 

My order from TFSafari made it to Canada in just about a week, shipped via YunExpress.

I have a couple of orders coming from ShowZ, but their tracking only gave me Canada Post numbers, so there won't be any info until it arrives here.
