I put up my NECA TMNT accessory set in my sales thread if anyone in interested. I could also be interested in selling my MIB Tokka and Rahzar, but I haven't listed it yet. I don't want to say I'm desperate, but I still need to come up with a little more cash for some car repairs.
For those who have actually received their Loot Crate, did it come FedEX or Smart Post. My package is in limbo, as after NECA finally decided to ship it, it was scheduled for the 5th, then the 7th, and now is PENDING, and when you call FedEX, they say it will be up to 10 day as they are handing it off to USPS for Smart Post.
Mine was delayed multiple times during its journey and was finally delivered by FedEx themselves. It seemed to sit at least a couple days at each stop along the way. FedEx is struggling right now.
All of these subscription boxes are fundamentally just a way for companies to charge scalper prices while still pretending to maintain their usual price points. Package one item that you know people will really want, with a bunch of junk that you couldn't otherwise give away, and people can pretend like they're not paying $50 (or $140 as the case may be) for a single figure when that's exactly what they're doing.
I'd love to get my LootCrate, I really should sign in to the site to see if there's any progress on my order, but either way I'm never buying one again. I don't care if they give us Chief Sterns or Danny's dad or what, I'm done with LootCrate, it ain't worth the hassle.
The Walmart app actually worked, this morning I got a notification that the reissue Leo and Mikey was back in stock and it was WM not a vendor so they was the $12.97 price. And it was 10 minutes later when I responded to the notification, usually you get a notification and with quick response the item is sold-out.
Do you guys think those classics figures will be as prevalent as the motu origins? I just need Mikey and I'm considering buying one on ebay because I can't find him anywhere.
I don't disagree at all. I wish they would let us at least pick the items we want with all of the crates they sell, though. The figure would be a given, but give us a few options for the shirts and the trinkets.
PSA: Never force a NECA figure’s seized joint. If it doesn’t move with gentle force, then heat it with warm water until it does. (Be wary with Danny’s elbows - not my photo)
Well, this is the 1st loot crate I've done and probably will be the last loot crate I will do. Not only do I not have a straight answer as to where my package is, now we have received notice that the second package will be shipped sometime in December so we will be lucky to see it by the new year.
Slash S7 is pretty thick, I didn't think he be any bigger than the turtles but man he looks really good Review sample video S7 got me to buy 7 figures so far in 6 waves, let's see what other Rabbit out their hat can they get me with to buy more
I just got the Arcade crate delay email also. Interestingly enough, my mind was thinking about December, the temperature, and the type of the plastics they use. I pray our figures don't shatter in transit.
Man, I shipped the stuff out today.....my gosh shipping has gotten crazy. Close to half the cost of the figure itself.
