Great, 26 episodes, BUT WHEN?!!!

 

So, will there be any actual plot developments/resolutions this time? Or is it going to be as much of a waste as the last season, where the status quo posed at the end of Season 2 was either left unexplored, or dumpstered off-screen?

 

Hopefully this season is less all over the place and much more focused. Which Weisman said it would be.

 

I hope so... I didn't hate the last season, but I felt like there were too many plot threads going on at once. Which I feel stemmed from the decision to split up the original group, but still follow each of them as major players. The story last season could have stood to be a lot more focused. So hopefully, S4 will be.

 

You know this hasn’t been updated in awhile and so I checked the news and last month we apparently got the release date of season 4. October 21st, which is also the day that Titans season 3 concludes.

Might have to roll back what I shared before, since a recent Twitter storm from Greg gave us quite a few things.

15 episodes are finished and the show is on track to finish production on the remaining 11 by the end of this year. Unfortunately Greg is not saying anything regarding a release date, and as far as he knows, there isn’t one yet.

So it’s possible we won’t get our first look till DC Fandome, which is on October 15th or 16th.

 

Well that's a bummer, but at least it gives them time to finish.

 

We're officially getting a preview of the upcoming season at FanDome on October 16th. REALLY not what I wanted, but I guess it is what it is.

 

What did you want?

 

I dunno, I liked it well enough. The focus was both the Markovia situation, the new heroes, and Darkseid's attempt to establish a foothold on Earth and look for the Anti-Life Equation. That got resolved pretty well. The Light is still around but they took a backseat to this, mostly. (They might work with Darkseid but would not want him to succeed).

For us to get preview material sooner than that, especially considering most of the season is already finished. They're doing a terrible job promoting this season compared to Outsiders.

 

It's the 4th season of a show on a streaming service. They really don't need to do much promoting. Outsiders got more promotion because it was bringing the show back after years of cancelation.

Liking the new looks for Nightwing and Miss Martian

 

Hopefully the animation is a bit more polished this season, since it had its rough spots. And maybe more resembles the first two seasons.

 

I like that it shows the S1 team here minus Wally and Roy. Nice call back.

 

Digging the looks, but Connor looks like he just walked in on Wolf taking a crap on his favorite rug.

 

Considering that they showed Wolf's health was failing last season, he just might have.

 

Was there a particular reason season 3 was less polished animation-wise than the first two seasons?
