I think I saw that on Botposting lol, glad my idea is giving people things to do and they get the same groovy results

 

I did this a couple weeks ago, in hindsight a hairdryer would have made the process a lot easier lol.

The Origins is such a good bumblebee mold besides the head being off, and I think the world's collide bumblebee head was perfect. It's the right color and he looks pretty nimble like a scout should be.

I turned the back kibble upside down on mine as well I think it looks slightly better, and I don't mind parts forming and swapping it back when he transforms.

 

UPDATE: Here he is with the reprolables and it looks GORGEOUS

 

Saw how S Hailstorm did it... how did you do it? Did you have to warm yours up or just pry it apart? I am about to paint my origin Bee and swap heads with Cliffjumper to get an origin Cliffjumper. The heads are about the same size.

 

Did it myself a while ago too, so much better

 

I heated it up then pried it open with an exacto blade

 

I decided to get hubcap and scarifice him for this custom cause I'm not paying 50 for the boxset version. This took a half hour take and swap.

 

Lol came across this over a year later. Did you end up putting SG goldbug’s head on NF bee’s body? Curious to see before doing it myself

I didn't end up doing it, got the Creatures Collide set to fill that void, but that actually looks pretty decent all things considered

 

God that really makes me realize just how squashed the Origins Bumblebee head is

 

that looks really good! I would buy that if hasbro did a legacy movie bee like that
