So G2 Sandstorm should be arriving today. That’s 4 Coneheads (Sand, Ram, Thrust, and Dirge), 3 F-15 Eagles (‘Scream, ‘Cracker, and ‘Warp) and 5 Tetrajets (Redwing, Hotlink, and the Rainmakers). Though I’m still waiting for Red and the Rain trio, but that’d be all the Seekers I think. Just need HasTak to make Sunstorm, Bitstream, Nacelle, Blackout, Slipstream, and those other unmade G2 Seekers.

I hope to form another conehead trio with Sandstorm, Blue Ramjet, and either Blackout or Jungle Camo Starscream.

Is G2 Ramjet a separate character from G1 Ramjet? I wasn't sure so I decided not to get him. I try not to double up on characters unless they're an upgraded form like transmetals or Galvatron.

Hi. I just cancelled my pre-order of Earthrise Thundercracker and Skywarp with BBTS. Just giving you guys a heads up in case anyone wants one: there is now one free. Or was when I just left. Goodness knows when the lads will actually ship though. BBTS says this month, but another store says November. I suspect the latter.

I recently got the Netflix Hotlink pack. He isn’t quite Skywarp (similar colours in a very different arrangement, but looks great) but he works, and I have the Siege version of Thundercracker, and I figure, they’ll do. I’ve got Starscream in the ER mould, and in robot mode they all look good together.

That also means I have a couple of those third party landing gears, grey and black, one each for Skywarp and Thundercracker going spare which I’ll likely sell on the relevant thread. They do a good job of filling in those big holes in the front of the ER seekers alt-mode. I’ll happily sell for buying price and shipping, or swapsies with something else of like value, but more about that in the relevant thread later.

Back to Earthrise related stuff- I finally have Scorponok shipping from BBTS. I was able to compare shipping rates with shipping to UK from them direct or via proxy US address at Stackry, and assuming they stick to the prices when they physically weigh/measure the thing, I’ll be saving quite a lot going the proxy route. Also I didn’t realise BBTS slapped tax on it now! I’ll pay the import tax if UK customs request it of me, but I don’t want the sender deciding for me!

Looking forward to the big bug guy, but not sure where I’ll put him. I need my own place.

 

I think G2 are just recolours, but if you like the look , he can be whatever you want him to be. Not that I’m trying to persuade you to get him. Totally understand the restriction. I just cancelled an order myself figuring the Siege versions would do, albeit they’re the same colours.

G1 and G2 Ramjet are the same guy. G2 Ramjet is supposed to represent him after he was upgraded after ingesting the super-chemical forestonite.
