It does look pretty badass, and I like that it can be a standalone spacecraft (like the Lightning and Gunbarrel), so it got preordered.
I thought I would pick one up when I woke up this morning without a fuss since us never seems to have issues with initial inventory. Really does seem like they only offered a couple.
I woke up around 2-230 and it was still up for preorder at the time and there was like no traffic in the sense of website congestion. I didn’t buy one since who knows if I’m ever getting my blue frame at this point and I don’t really much care to equip it on anything else outside of a blue frame. I don’t know when it sold out though so I’m curious about that. I’m also curious should they decide to open secondary orders if we’ll also be getting them.
All the packs so far have sold out within less than a day, but they’ve all had secondary orders if I remember correctly, specifically the ones that sold out fast.
Granted that’s mainly gunpla we haven’t seen TWE secondary orders on the US site in general so don’t lose hope! There’s also buying them from sites that sell TWEs since they also tend to carry secondary orders for TWEs.
Anime-Export had it up yesterday morning; it was marked as sold out right after I got my preorder in, so I might've gotten their "last" one. Part of the problem with second runs on MB stuff is that proxy-stores like Anime-Export/Nippon-Yasan/etc never open up the old listing or put up a second-run listing either.
Anime-Export has done it before and I believe so has Okini-Land. Problem is whether or not they decide to list the items since sometimes they do and sometimes they don’t bother that is to say if they manage to get any of the secondary order’s stock.
Ah ok, thanks. I stand corrected; I don't remember seeing it myself from Anime-Export on anything that got second runs, but maybe because I wasn't looking (probably due to having gotten it in the first run). Like you said, sometimes they do, more often than not they don't. Still annoying nonetheless.
Wow, this is kinda nuts. I thought yesterday after seeing the Ohmyrpriums had it for $112 that I could just save the money and get it from Pbandai USA. Then I wake up and see that every place is sold out. Luckily I was able to get it for $130 from Toy wonderland. I am paying a premium for my ignorance. Sometimes I hate being a collector.
