To answer the guy's question from earlier, i would guess the movie will make around 700 million. It does come out a few weeks after Jurassic World 3 (or 6?) but let's not forget that even though those films made a bunch of money, you'd be hard pressed to find people who actually LIKE them or talk about them. I have no doubt Jurassic World 3 will make tons of money but i think if anything, people actually like Transformers as a whole more than Jurassic.

One theory I have for the predacons and decepticons in this movie is that they will be used similar to how darkseid and his army were used in the Snyder cut. They’ll be part of a flashback (where they supposedly get locked inside of a tomb) and in the final battle they’ll be released by the terrorcons and the autobots/maximals have to try and stop them. For the decepticons I have a theory that a few decepticons will be killed by scourge, nightbird joins up with him, and at the of the movie, they megatron, starscream, soundwave, and shockwave planning an attack on Optimus prime.

Make sense, one thing I noticed is that Jurassic can't really focus on the dinosaur that much bcz the dinosaurs can't express the feeling that well, but the cybertronians can do that, which give transformers have a whole lot more potential on story wise. This potential hasn't been discovered before, so hopefully this movie

 

Then it's going to be a failure.

Remember, the budget this time is around the same as TLK, and TLK made almost that much and still is considered a critical failure.

ROTB will need to hit the threshold TLK didn't, which is a 1.2 billion box office.

 

Dang, I really really hope Nightbird gets an MPM treatment...

 

That's a metric fuckton of unsubstantiated assumptions.

First of all, nobody has any idea what the marketing budget was for TLK, even less-so for RotB.

Second of all, the domestic VS international split is crucial, seeing as studios get a bigger piece of the pie domestically.
