Funny, the TF X-over with the Console version of the game just ended. The skins look great, and I just noticed the other day that using the commanders changes the music to music from the cartoon! Prime’s voice is awful unfortunately.
Actually she isn't a Graf Zeppelin. She's a "Richthofen," a fictional what-if CV based on the laid down H-class battleship hull. Much like how many of the pre-war Japanese carriers were converted BBs or CCs. Zeppelin herself was a pre-war design, her hull laid down in '36. As with most pre-war carrier designs, they were a sort of sideshow with big BBs and CCs still dominating much of the strategic and tactical naval doctrine of the time. As such Zeppelin had a tiny air group of only 42 planes. Meanwhile her other pre-war contemporaries, the British Ark Royal of the Illustrious class could carry upwards of 60 planes and the American Yorktown class could carry 90(though individual examples such as USS Enterprise CV-6 packed in as many as 96 planes, carrying excess planes broken up and hung up around the hangar deck to be completed and used as needed). Japanese carriers also had a considerable air group. The IJN Sorry, laid down in 34 as a dedicated carrier, had a respectable air group of 63 planes.
I don’t care for Wargaming’s made up bullshit. It’s not real, it’s theoretical and only draws visual inspiration from the design of Graf Zeppelin, which is why I called it that. The second ship in the Zeppelin class was never even named.
The crossover is back in autumn: Autumn Update: In the Shadow of Leaves The TRANSFORMERS robots are back! This time, with very solid reinforcements in the form of Legendary ship skins (and one more for Tier VIII République). More good news—each and every item from the previous arrivals of the collaboration will be available from September 1 throughout the update, until October 3. That includes Commanders, ship skins, and containers. © 2012-2022 Wargaming.net. TRANSFORMERS and its associated characters are trademarks of Hasbro and are used with permission. © 2022 Hasbro. I love warships, but no. Pretty much all the Wargaming games are loaded with insane microtransactions that make them very pay to win friendly unless you are willing to constantly grind for pennies worth of in-game currency.
