I think that's to help differentiate the two. Most folk might try to paint the abs, say, but changing so many bits means you're unlikely to be sold a v1 when you buy a v2.

Dayum son. The abs alone make such a difference. Gonna look sweet as fuck stood next to Virtus and their Perceptor.

Edit: Just finished the video and it's looks a hell of a lot better paintwise. Still not 100% on the small fender pieces and wrist clips but i'm a lot more confident in this. Perhaps it's time to give this a 2nd chance?

 

Muchhhhhh better, you can tell even besides the design revisions the look of kup and the targetmasters the appearance looks polished smoother finish. It was a long wait but finally it’s done can’t wait for the release.

Watching people talk about being all in on Locke 2.0, despite what we all got with 1.0, because a single copy that was sent out for review isn't hot garbage and it has painted abs now, like,

 

It’s pretty easy to trick MP collectors into buying things. Much like in real life, If you keep promising things, you don’t need to actually deliver on anything, they’ll just buy in anyways.
