Just a heads up that The Chosen Prime has their 2021 Reissue Probus (Brawl) in stock.

I have it preordered with BBTS but I have NO idea when they will get them in. Trying to decide if I just want to use some points to negate the Shipping Price with TCP or keep my BBTS order. Hmm...I really did want to get this before Xmas this year...I guess I'll play it patient and just get it when I get it.  

Looks like some have dropped their BBTS preorder (that's how I ordered one a week or so ago) and now there is another left if anyone wants it.

 

And for anyone getting a Probus soon----remember to turn the periscope around! The blue lens faces forward. (unless you're looking at something behind you that you're not aiming at)

Yup, the commander gets the big fancy one.   (it's too small to show up in all but the largest models, but it even has a little wiper for when it rains)

 

Can you specify what in particular was fixed. Is it just stronger shoulder ratchet, or did they improve the hips and knees reviewers complained about?

I have the 1st version, but I do have the replacement ratchet that I haven't installed yet. If I do install it, is it basically the same as the later runs or were there other improvements?

 

Finally received Volatus. Definitely better than Unique Toys' offering, but I hate his lack of ankle swivels.

 

Could someone measure the size of Incursus' box (non-window variant)?
I have the original windowed variant that has him in alt mode, but the box its size makes it difficult to store with other boxes.
So I'm wondering whether to hunt for the non-window variant (and the 2nd release tighter joints that come with the figure).

That's surprising, the windowed box is about 10x12x40cm.
I was hoping that at least the 40cm would shrink down to maybe 30 with him in bot mode, but so the box is just bigger  .

 

Unfortunately, Incursus is simply big. Long in alt mode and tall in bot mode!

 

ZOMG! When is BBTS getting PS-17 Probus in stock??!?? Pre-Ordered PS-14 Incursus (Reissue) too, seems they will be in at the same time! Probably February 2022... sigh... /donebitching4now

 

In my limited experience, BBTS tends to get stuff slower than other stores so I tend not to preorder there and instead check out what they already have in stock.

 

Man........... wish I could afford a 3rd set to display..... would position Incursus between the 2 Assaultus bots and the other 4 limb-bots around their feet..... reckon that would look so cool........... Jeeeez MMC did a great job with this team!! Bring on the first Maximas Pro bot already!?

 

As someone who has had this set since the initial releases and never combined yet (yes life is that busy)....can someone remind me, which are the joints that may be wonky and what (if any) were the fixes? My assualtus boxes have been in a box wit the exception of a few once in a while.

 

The shoulder ratchets aren’t stiff enough to hold up blast off as an arm. The replacement came with Brawl.

Knees and hips aren’t the stiffest for the leg bots but I don’t know if there’s a fix. You can still pose Bruticus okay regardless!

I keep Onslaughts legs collapsed in combined mode otherwise he gets real wobbly haha.

maybe because you got the first run but my Brawl came with a shoulder ratchet upgrade
