I'd hold out. The more time that goes by, the closer we get to another Ratchet that's better.

 

For the moment, it may be better to strike while the iron's hot. This is still an exclusive set, and short of a complete reissue (which might not be in the cards if the rumors of a new Ratchet/Ironhide in 2023 are to be believed), I don't think they're ever going back to retail pricing. If you're looking for your definitive Ratchet and can live without for a while, you can probably wait for the rumored one as a pretty safe bet, but for this set in particular, now may be the time. Better to get it at $80 and it goes down to $60 than not get it at $80 and it skyrockets back up to $160+.

What's this about a new Ratchet? I know there's one coming out in SS86, but that one is core class apparently.

 

That was also my reasoning. Plus I have a more complete Ark crew sitting on my shelf to gawk at until 2023 comes too when I might possibly swap some out.

 

There's rumored to be a Voyager class one coming in 2023, but it's highly unlikely that we'd get confirmation for a while.

Seems like the Sellers were keeping themselves updated on the news/movements of these & the minute when the leaked list confirms that new Deluxe/Voyager Class Ironhide & Ratchet isn't happening (as yet), the prices for these went up again. (I'm talking about Amazon here.)

I don’t want to tie up money buying the 2-pack, so that most likely won’t happen. I see listings for Lifeline on eBay, which is the one I’m after, but wanted to see if I could score one from someone here since I’m sure a healthy number of people bought it just for Ratchet.
