I think it's awesome they're dedicating the Titan slot to a Unicron Trilogy character. I hope he does really well.

That said, I don't think this figure is for me. I have a limited Cybertron collection (more Armada and Energon) and $190 is a bit of a shudder-inducing price. I hope other size classes aren't also getting a significant price hike. Didn't we just get an across the board increase?

 

If we're talking about the design, probably just in the fact that it was new and not like G1 like how some people reacted to the Armada game when it first came out (don't know for sure tho cause I was really young back then).

 

G1 had city and aircraft carrier mode though. This one has doggy style position with a saw on top. Hardly looks like a good alt mode

 

For that price, I hope it comes with a full minicon team!

 

About how you'd expect.

 

I guess we'll know if it has Minicon ports.

This is really early for a leak I feel like whoever leaked this got somebody in trouble

There doesn\'t seem to be any real improvements over the original Cybertron figure just now it\'s enormous and thank goodness because Hasbro has so many home runs next year that I need to save money somewhere

 

Welp, someone\'s in trouble. I\'m kind of disappointed in this one. Also, that Legacy logo sucks. At least I\'ll save $189.99. Maybe I\'ll get another Black Zarack.

 

This is just a VERY quick MS Paint job, but it gets the ball park across if that 22" is accurate.

If nothing else, this will definitely be more of an upgrade to the 06 toy than Siege Galaxy Prime was to its original.

 

Hmm.... Well Wave 4 of DLX Legacy is still TBD (except for the 4th Stunticon). So that might be true.

I'll give it a 60% chance.

Ark and Black Zarak are 180 Legacy is the line that got a price hike. Nobody i know wants this if you wait it will be discounted so you might get it at 120ish others would want to be paid to take it.

I think you read the opposite of what I said.

I did say “almost” and “most”, specifically to avoid being absolute and to acknowledge exceptions.

I’m just saying that there’s a starting year where many remakes would be 99% nostalgia and 1% improvement, and this Metroplex is in that category.

Other things where brand-new molds couldn’t possibly be an improvement include some of the Transmetals, all of Prime, all of Animated, all of RID 2001, and all of Cybertron.

Tiny retools and fixes, sure. Mold TM1 Megatron in stronger plastic. Give some of the Cybertron characters better joints for more range of movement, etc. But totally new molds for them? That would be bad.
