Alright! The cannon was the one goal I reeeally wanted. The shield and micromasters will be awesome to somehow reach, but if we don't I'll be pretty content with what we did manage to get to.

 

If the V lock cannon is bloosh compatible, then, with that and the shoulder cannons, he can pull off the elusive TRIPLE BLOOOOOOOOOOSHHHH!!!!

 

I'm like 80% sure it is given it's the same tier as said blast effects. Would be wild if they aren't

 

The canon and the stand are the 2 most desired ones. The Shield maybe. But the minicons dunno why they are even in it. Repaints they are and will always be.

Had the Shield and Micros been the second tier from the get-go, I guarantee we would have hit it right away, as there would have been anticipation for more bonuses. At this rate, the disdain shown for a stand has likely sabotaged any chances of the third tier being hit.

I'm usually not the pessimist around here, but we have to be realistic at this juncture, with only days to go.

International backers haven’t been added, those are probably about an additional 4k. Stay hopeful for the shield, we’re soooo close.

 

They need to extend the backer period unicron style to get the shield

 

From the renders it looks like the V Lock Cannon, shoulder cannons from Victory Leo, and the slightly articulated cannons on his shoulders/front of V-Star are all bloody compatible.

Potentially a lot of bloosh-age

 

Honestly this will be the first time I get any blast effects. They've always looked neat but none of the figures that came with them were all that interesting to me or in my budget at the time

Nah we're gonna get that shield no problem. There's no chance in hell we don't have 5k backers with all the 3p orders, not to mention that last minute surge that always happens

 

The cannon was the tier I really wanted us to get to. I can live without the stand or shield. I would like to have the anime accurate micromasters but I can live with the Siege releases if we don\'t make that goal. Still kind of a shame that it we probably aren\'t going to get enough support for all the tiers.

The V-lock cannon was the only accessory I needed so I'm happy. I would love to have all of the stretch goals, but I'm indifferent. Who doesn't like a display stand option? Plus the micromasters are the only mold I don't have so this is perfect. But I can live without both.

Never said to quit, but if we just hit the first tier and there's only a few days ago, it appears hitting Tier 3 is not a guarantee. I was unaware the international numbers haven't been counter. So please restrain the anger.

Fans are capable of discerning different versions of the same character. But does it matter to you if this is the only Star Saber that some fans are familiar with? It's a fictional character. It's not like we're talking about a real life person and IDW was committing slander through their portrayal.

This was simply authorial choice but some fans like to project a ton of meaning to it. Most of the villains in LL were original characters but the one time a G1 character gets reimagined, people start casting all of these assumptions about Roberts. People accuse him of trying to be controversial but the thing is, most folks didn't care one way or another about the change-- it was only the small, vocal minority that made a fuss about it.

Ultimately, JG1 Star Saber won't ever change.
