Hey Hasbro--How about giving us a regular Goldbug figure before a Shattered Glass version?

 

Worst one? Goldbug is an integral part of the series and a cool figure too, imo. Then again you may know all that & still not like him.

Isn't Goldee like a bad ass in the original too,? Unlike Cliffjumper who was the ONLY original Autobot, IIRC.

 

They went with the lamest possible choice for Goldbug. should've been the Runamuck mold.

 

So far in the SG line every character has been made from a mold already used for that character, so their choice makes sense (and yes, before anyone says anything, Bumblebee and Goldbug are the same character).

Hi, you may wanna change the front page story saying this is (most) likely a one-off shipment error to Target.

With all of this Goldbug talk, has there been any rumor of a proper G1 Goldbug in the Kingdom line or after?

 

There’s been a rumor about a new Goldbug in Worlds Collide II, although iirc it’s gonna be another Bee repaint.

 

I think if you scan the fine print, the only thing that's technically Pulse exclusive is the foil comic covers. Of course, most people assumed that the toys would be exclusive to there (at least in the US/Canada). Honestly, if these toys get a wider release, I'd be perfectly happy.

Although I do believe that in one of the other threads people noticed that characters like Megatron had sold 99% of their ~6000 stock while Goldbug was something like only 60% sold of his 9000 unit alotment. I could understand them deciding to ship out Goldbug to stores to move the "excess" product.

 

Their release in general is Pulse exclusive in the states, not just the comic. Unless things have changed, this was a mistake and nothing more.

 

Not trying to be a jerk here, but is there a direct source on the Pulse exclusive? Is there a rep from Hasbro or press release that specifically said that?

The page for Goldbug on Pulse reads Transformers Generations Shattered Glass Collection Autobot Goldbug & IDW’s Shattered Glass— Goldbug (Exclusive Hasbro Pulse Variant Cover). So if that is our only source on this being Pulse exclusive, it could go either way. Maybe the bundle (toy + variant comic) is what is exclusive.

 

They're listed in the hasbro pulse exclusive section of pulse. That is supposed to be the only US release. This batch showing up at target is a mistake. They were never solicited to target and aren't in targets system. That's further proof.

 

Just give us proper throttle bots, hasbro.
